I'm in Germany and I only speak English. I go to global chat and it's all Germans so I can't recruit. How do I change my "local" on the game to be to an English speaking country?

I'm in Germany and I only speak English. I go to global chat and it's all Germans so I can't recruit. How do I change my "local" on the game to be to an English speaking country?
Hit the settings button on the bottom right corner of the screen, then tap the flag, and then tap english.
That only changes the language and not who I see in global. Just wish I could still recruit when I'm living in Germany.
Restart the game,try change language again,If this does not work,it must be a bug in the game.
Go to the clans looking for clan mates section of these forums, under clan talk and post a thread about you and your awesome clan. You will get way better quality members from forums rather than random forum peeps.
