When the townsfolk leave their gifts it sometimes says bonus which I assume means I get two of the same gift item. But on checking I have only one new map, mallet etc.
so what does "bonus" mean ?

so what does "bonus" mean ?
It means bonus in addition to the coins, XP, and reputation points awarded for filling the individual requests.
