Farming 200- trophies

I am a th 8 farming and I can't find much loot is farming down in 200- trophies good loot.. My clan members give me mixed answers.. I need someone who is or has been down there recently to tell me how the loot is down there

I didn't realize that it would go through bouts of being good or bad. I thought it was just boosting your barracks and getting lucky. Easy loot has been harder to come by since clan wars was introduced though.

I was down there over the weekend. It was fine and I was constantly busy raiding and I did not gem barracks. I don't think I got any more resources per hour than I would have elsewhere in high silver or low gold.

The most surprising thing to me was that there were very few abandoned bases. I did two pretty long runs there and out of 100's of attacks saw maybe 5 or 6 abandoned bases - and one was on my way back up above 200 (which was a 500K+). I mostly saw really crappy bases that were TH6-9 and newbie bases. I don't think I'll do it again as it's slightly irritating getting down there and quite irritating getting back up, going through the 200-400 range then the bronze junk.

I expect that the abandoned stuff ebbs and flows though. I've been finding hoards of abandoned bases this week - maybe it's the same in sub-200 too.

Maybe a sub-200 weather report thread would be a good idea...
