Imo it helps more than a wiz tower

I upgraded my mortars and wizard towers first and am now just starting my xbow upgrades. I wanted to max my splash first especially the wizard towers to lvl 7 since they can now 1 shot lvl6 archer groups.

I agree with this. Killing a group of lvl 6 archers in one shot will be nice. I'll do x-bow to 3 before mortar to 7 though. The lvl 6 mortar already one shot's lvl 6 archers.

Wizard towers do splash damage, upgrade wiz tower first.

100% agreed. LVL 7 WT are so op

100% wizard tower. Those things are powerful when upgraded to the max.
