TH8s, what Strategy are you using in wars to attack other TH8s.

I've been trying to practice Gowipe, but with the super long training time it's very difficult to get any good practice in. So far I think I've 3 star'd one acceptable base with it.

This war I used Hogs once and just got fed up with it and did Gowipe the second time but just got 2 stars =/.

depending on base and war score, but most luck with dragon minion mix.

Do you by chance have any replays of your good attacks xD? Or a strategy guide you'd recommend?

I use 4 Pekkas, 4 wizards, 5 giants, 10 wall breakers, 15 barbs and 24 archers.
Coupled with a level 8 BK, 2 heal + 1 rage spell.
Easy 2 star atleast, with level 3 Pekkas on most th8 bases since pekkas will take out springs, saving my giants, and soaking all the damage up alongside the new tanky barbarian king. Just make sure to rid of any buildings on the outside to avoid Pekkas walking around the base.
- Take out all surroundings buildings,
- Place 1 Pekka, and then all giants, the Pekka will get traps out the way, remember she isn't affected by spring traps; so this will save your giants,
- Get those wall breakers to pave a way into the center; assumably where the townhall will be,
- Then place 2 more Pekkas to enter the fray, coupled with a rage spell since the first Pekka will be dead or nearly dead,
- Back the Pekkas up with 2/3 wizards,
- Since Pekkas are slow I like to keep 1 Pekka and 1 wizard till the very end of the raid just to get that 3 star if time is an issue.

GoWiPe and dragons, mainly dragons so I voted that on the poll

Seems like this type of attack would be better with a golem than 5 giants >_>. Since they don't activate spring traps either. I might try a few more Archers in place of a wizard or two on my Gowipe to better funnel the PEKKAS. idk.

Dragons, with either 3 lightnings (1 centralised AD) or 3 rages.

Do you guys think that lvl 3 dragons is a requirement to 3 star TH8s? Mine are lvl 2 atm.

I've been using a strategy that I created myself that consists of
-15 Giants
-14 Wizards
-30 Archers
-1 Balloon (to drop before healer to take seeking air mine)
-1 Healer
-10 Wallbreakers
