big loot, fine. But profit margin....
sup everyone, I am not a super high level on CoC but I consider myself pretty strategic. So profit margin is more important to me when farming than just getting a big raid, because if you spend 150k elixer and get 200k whats the big deal? thats nothing and what's really the point.
For example this second attack. The troop comp cost 38,360 Elixer and Total Loot was 572,450 which is a total profit of 534,090 all together. I see a lot of people using huge compositions of wizards/giants/dragons all the expensive troops which brings down the profit you get by a lot.
The goblins, I feel, are super under used for what they can do. They obviously go specifically for loot and do 2x damage so even before a mortar can hit them, they're on to the next one (most of the time). And they're so inexpensive.

I know these raids aren't over the top awesome or an unbelievable amount of loot, but they definitely made me a lot of money and when I'm strictly farming I love using compositions like this. I used to like to stay in silver II for raiding, but I've since moved up to gold III and am about 50 trophies away from gold II.
I look forwards to the comments. Cant waaaaaaait :P

A good strategy is definitely BARCH (barbarians and archers). If you have level 5 archers, do all archer raids. How to use: spread barbarians around base for meat shields for the archers that you place right behind the barbarians. This is always a garunteed one star if you go against the right base. The right base is a base where about 50% of buildings are on the outside. Trust me, there is a lot of those. I use these same strategies and i cannot remember the last time I lost.
