Thinking of skipping th 8.

Ok, so clearly my sarcasm went way over your head, but this is a terrible idea. I'm already attacked by th 9s, why not let th 10s wipe the floor with me too? But really, if all you care about is reaching the highest trophies possible in the next 3 months, go straight for th 10, maybe you'll be able to win some defenses against th 7s.

As a th7 in masters you are somewhat protected by the fact that most can't get much loot off you (there just aren't many th8s in masters). If you go directly to th9 from th7, your base will get smashed and you will lose way more loot than you are now.

Unless you plan on gemming your resources, I would max at least farming troops and essential defenses. Personally I think skipping th8 entirely is a bad idea.

Because you will lose a lot more loot, I always recommend that people go premature because it allows me to gain good loot from raiding what is essentially a much lower town hall, gotta love those premmies :D

I would definitely NOT skip TH8 because it is the biggest TH in terms of building lvls. Also TH9 is the biggest step up in terms of finding loot I think. At TH10, you can farm in masters quite easily. At TH8 you still get those collector raids, at TH9, one of the most effective farming is to use those tanky as lvl 6 giants and storage raid. If you skip TH8 I think you would find it hard to farm enough resources for more expensive upgrades. One more thing, to be honest, max TH7 is not that hard and requires little gold compared to TH8. At TH8 you effectively have to buy the TH upgrade 4 times, since lvl 6 teslas cost 3mil each. At TH7, I don't think their are any really expensive upgrades (Relative to the TH lvl).

Can you max collectors first please?

If its the better troops you are after to get a better offence, I'd recommend going to th8 and staying there till your offence is maxed and then move up if you still want. I don't understand the logic of skipping th8 completely when you will want th8 troops, army camp space and such.

I think whether maxing or not though depends a lot on play style, so hard to really give advice.
