Thinking of skipping th 8.

Good video. Enjoyed the victory against th10 at the end using just heroes and wb. Haha

...maybe they should nerf heroes? ;) jk

Personally I went to th9 a little early and i didnt regret it a bit. Ok so it meant raiding th8 and th9 as th7 becomes off limits, but this is far outweighed by how much easier it is to hold onto your loot. A th8 is just sooo much more vunerable than a th9. Fewer buildings, less walls, less defences, loot split over less storages, no archer queen. Getting close to full storages as th8 was so stressful, constantly worrying about getting robbed. As a th9 i almost always put people off long enough the attract a th snipe instead.

didnt think about the troops, but i suppose if im going to upgrade the towers might as well add the troop upgrades to the list too.

If you completely skip TH8 you will be setting yourself back tenfold. I would highly recommend maxing everything up to TH8, and then everything up to TH9 walls (at least have all level 8 walls before moving to TH10). But hey, you are your own player. I would be happy to dominate your premature baby TH9 base along with all of the other newbs.

Lol i skipped th8 and damn was that the worst decision i ever made in this game. Took so long to max th9 . My advice.. DONT DO IT!!!

edit: i was th8 just for a week while my th upgraded.

See the thing is that im already being attacked by lvl 9 ths as a 7. They are the only few who try to attack me. So i see it as im already being attacked by 9s, and most of my attacks are against th 9s, so why not?

Basically exactly what I was going to say. At least stay at th8 long enough to upgrade whatever troops you plan to farm with at th9. Once that's done, feel free to go straight to 9. IMO, th9's farm comp can dominate th8 more than any other th level is able to dominate the level below them.

Do it th9 is really fun

Serious, serious mistake...you want th9 troops? Still gotta get th8 level troops but with the loot penalty of th9. All those cool upgrades at th9, you still got to pay for but as a th7, good luck. I maxed th8 and when I got to th9 I was still at a big disadvantage cause I was stuck with a th8 army for awhile going after other 8's and 9's.....and you want to go to th9 with a th7 army? Prepare to be frustrated and destroyed. Every time you try to save for those new toys you're gonna get killed by th8's,9's and 10's.

I also suggest you don't skip TH8. I was similar to you in maxing TH7 minus a couple of small things and am now going through the process of maxing TH8. It's a long process on its own so skipping it to try and max TH9 is just going to take twice as long.

And if it's because you want to upgrade troops, TH8 actually has the biggest jump in troop upgrades. You can only max Barb,Archer,Giant and Balloon at TH9. Food for thought at least.
