I'm town hall 7 and I am trying to upgrade my barbarian king as fast as I can so that I am able to worry about upgrading my other buildings. Right know what I am doing for dark elixer is I'm at crystal 3 and I am hitting peoples dark elixer storages with 3 lighting spells and that is going very slow for me so I am wanting a better one so that I can max it fastest way possible.
Dropping lightning spells on de storages is a great way to get your ♥♥♥ kicked by someone(in the game), this severely pisses people off and I wouldn't advise doing it. I use giants and wbs then goblins and wiz/arch. Giants + wbs break a path to the storage then gobs and wiz/arch take it out.Quote:

The easiest way it to go all out with barbarians and archers (80 barbarians, 120 archers) and look for bases with filled dark elixir drills level 3+. If you come across bases with the town hall on the outside, make the most of it and snipe it so that you can sustain a trophy level for as long as possible because you're not going to be going for trophies specifically. If you start at crystal league like i did you will most likely find yourself in the 1600's area at the end.
It's a really annoying grind, especially without a dark elixir drill. But it'll put you in a huge lead when you get to town hall 8, where most players don't even have a lvl 5+ barbarian king.
Zapping DE is a good way to get 3 stared every time you log off. Don't do it, it shows that the person is a noob and doesn't know how to raid DE. Go to crystal leagueQuote:

As a town hall 7, it's not easy to obtain dark elixir. Not nearly as easy for anyone with 1, 2 or even 3 drills. If we lightning spell your dark elixir storage what's the point of revenging when you'll have to waste a huge army on a puny town hall 7. It's a shame seeing a town hall 10 for instance using lightning spells on a dark elixir storage, but for a town hall 7?Quote:

I did it to lvl 5 bk and hardly ever got raided in return..... keep your loot low and who cares if they 3 star you. Just focus on hitting th9 and th10 players..... look for exposed drills to barch and a fat storage to blast.
I think there's a lot of exposed DE storage in Gold 1 where you can grab 600+ DE with just Barch army
