♥♥♥♥! Just let them squat near dark elixir. Somewhere in the middle for trophy pushing or clan war defense. Its actually annoying (therefore useful) to put them right at the edge of an exposed storage. Not enough to draw them out completely, but enough that everytime you send barbs/archers to pick them off...heroes come out to kill troops.

Otherwise, if you have no respect for the hobos...let them sit outside in the cold.
