It just seems incredible that it hasn't been done yet given how long the games been out. Why would you not want to actually play against your friends...?

The sticky has it all...as in some of the other comments. To answer your question, they do read this forum, but they do not consider things that are already ruled out. They also do not consider features with vague descriptions or just dumb ones. Anyways, you should try to make a thread on the things that have not been considered by supercell. Be creative!

I personally like option 1. Yes it hurts clans that like to war every other day, but that's just another reason why you need to be able to opt out of wars...

I totally agree! In my opinion option 1 is the most needed thing since clan wars came out and they still haven't added it!
