Hi there,
i have been farming for quite a while now, I am level 71 and been TH8 for a couple of weeks. My basis coming along nicely however I was wondering if I should take a break from farming and trophy push. I have never really cared about trophies and stay 1150-1250 rising only occasionally to farm DE. I am now wondering how I would do trophy hunting. Do you guys do this or do the farmers among you farm exclusively?

I like having a trophy push every now and then. Farming does get boring from time to time and it is nice to break up the monotony a little. I actually started trophy hunting yesterday for the first time in months. :)
If yourr base isn't maxed, I personally find that trophy hunting is making the game difficult for yourself.
We do a Trophy hunt every four weeks.. (or thereabouts) They are very good fun and help you learn a lot... There is much about the game other than farming... if you only ever farm you will miss other enjoyable aspects of the game.
Do you build up your elixir prior to trophy hunting in order to train troops or do you manage to get enough during your trophy hunting.

It's gonna be hard to not feel like its time which could be better spent farming but I'm also hoping the change raises my interest for a bit as I am nowhere near getting to TH9 yet.
Last hunt I made it to 2559 without too much difficulty only using barbarians and archers. Total army cost 51k. It's definitely possible to recoup that cost as you climb up, but I'd still advise saving a couple million elixir before you try.
