Upgrade or not?

I've got enough to upgrade to TH8 but I would like opinions on if I should or not. You can check out my base search "The Clan" and look for Justin.

Having enough gold to upgrade your townhall is pretty much the last consideration possible in this decision. Are your walls, lab, or builders finished for TH7? If not, you are thinking of rushing to TH8. Which is fine, if you are an active farmer who has no trouble generating enough resources to keep builders busy.

IMO, I would definitely not upgrade to town hall 8 is I were you. You should upgrade all your walls a bit (Try to get them to level 6 minimum). You should probably upgrade all your defenses to max level as well, trust me those level 4 mortars aren't that effective. Finally, try to get all of your army camps to level 6, they help immensely.

Did you max everything out that you should of?
Try to see if any more defenses need upgrading, if they do go on ahead and upgrade them FIRST
Is your lab upgraded fully?
Is your walls maxed out? they don't have to be but it is a good thing to be sure of
Did you buy everything that a town hall 7 would need?
If you are done upgrading and building stuff for th7 then go ahead upgrade it! but be sure to go through this checklist to be sure without upgrading too early.

Not all of my defenses are fully upgraded yet. I suppose I'll wait.

You need to max your defense before you do anything!

At least maxed defenses. I'm actually upgrading my walls to level 7, then i'm moving into th8.

It's pretty simple, if you haven't maxed out your base, don't upgrade your TH.
