okay i understand your situation on lack of elixir, but i think 10-20 hrs break per day is already giving a nice loot from your elixir collector to at least using Giant-Healer + Wiz strategy on both attack, that's more reliable to 2 star bases than Barch and only costing 150k-200k roughly per attack with spells. but most of all, it's still depend on your Collector's level.

So many wise people with nasty opinions. Clearly, one needs to do the best effort for the clan in every cw. Barch, BAM etc are not usually that and I know people get boot when doing so. In this case, however, there was an almost maxed th10 that no one else had attacked. Probably it looked scary. I know that th10 is often left untouched in wars where both parts only have a few th10 with infernos, need not be even almost maxed. I am nr1 in our clan and most often don't get attacked. That said, I do not encourage using farming armies in clan wars, it will become a matter of discussion in the leaderboard. If the target was a base others were scared to attack then one star with those troops was ok and good strategy. If the target was a base that should have been three starred, then boot is close. trying to offer some CONSTRUCTIVE information here, since lots of people are calling you a waste of space and being complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s..... Your situation has 2 problems; your atack methods, and the clans war strategy.
BARCH in general is a 1-2 star attack plan in normal game. Good for farming, good for quick 1-2 star trophy pushes... In clan wars, the bases are set up so defensively that BARCH is almost guaranteed to be a 1 star at best. You are a TH9. You almost certainly have access to better troops than this? Heck Wizards and dragons or something....
Why is your clan not leaving something for the lower rank members? How can there be nothing near your # range left to attack? In my clan we all do our first attack equal to or near the same base # on war map so that everyone gets a chance. Then second attacks need to be on 0-2 star bases to bump the star score.
You can always barch farm to get some elixir to create a decent army. It doesn't take that long and if you must barch in war why not mix in some DE troops to back it up. It makes the attack more powerful.
