I have had past experience accidentally upgrading a cannon to lv. 10 when I was saving for my first X-Bow. I quickly cancelled it but got half of what I spent!! I'm sure this has happened to other players (maybe not exactly) and have an idea! Within 5 minutes of upgrade time you can cancel for FULL refund, and after that time you can only get half... CONSIDER THIS!! Clash on all CLASHERS!
I think the 50% penalty is unnecessary to begin with...

The reason you only get refunded 50% is because otherwise you could spend all your resources on an upgrade and then cancel just before they finish so that people cannot loot you.
