If too many people start creating guides. Eventually they will stop granting gems i think.
Theoretically, you are not buying gems when creating a guide. I assume you are saying that if people buy gems, and create guides on top of that. They should be given gems. People will begin to exploit this opportunity and supercell i am sure will not hand out free gems to those that create guides any further.
Where is the option for never?
Zero in a few posts i have said i forgot to add that option. Forgive me.
Half the guys out there doing "guides" .... should just stop. Every whiney kid across the game seems to think they're an expert, they should give nobody anything for doing them. That would cut out all the crud, and leave it to those who do it for no reward.
Calm down people, Supercell isn't giving me gems. I just have had private messages by individuals who offered to pay me if I wrote a few strategy articles (typically $5 for a 500 word essay) for them. A completely private transaction.
Most gemmers end up premature noobs anyway. Why stoop to their level?
I started playing free. Then when I decided I kind of liked the game I paid $5 on a builder, just because I like to support the games I like. Then when I really liked the game I spent $10 on my fourth builder. When I hit the 1250 achievement I spent another $10 for the other half of gems I needed for my fifth builder. If you know you like the game and will one day want the builders, the earlier you get them the better. After that I only buy gems in $99.99 increments, and I've done it a few times now. I only drop gems on the most fun aspect of the game...ARMY. I can wait for everything else. I just love attacking. I'm a professional with a career and a family so when I get the time I can't always wait for my army. I can't complain. Supercell made a great game and have good stable servers. They deserve the money I spent and I even have more for them. I am a fairly high level and I feel I am enjoying this game more than ever.
