Does anyone else see the nerf to heroes as the harbinger of new hero levels? (Ie- 50)
With the amount of maxed th10's currently in game it seems reasonable to expect a th11 coming soon(ish). I can't imagine the loco power an old school hero would have at level 50. Hence the nerf to make some room for new levels without being totally OP.
Just a thought that hasn't seen much air time here. Have seen a couple comments but no real ideas about this.
Your thoughts?
After nerfing heroes because they are "too powerful" for the game then bringing out level 50 heroes, would be disgusting money making tactic and immoral of supercell. Basically selling your own stuff back to you at a massive price.
Think a lot of players will say a big ♥♥♥♥ you and quit the game if/when that happens.
It seems to me that they would implement a system similar to other unnamed CoC-like apps:
They will probably offer a few more new heroes, and let you choose one or two to use at a time.
For demonstrations sake: say they offer a new hero named goblin king (all I could think of atm).
You could raid with any combination of two heroes you like. Likewise, any you could choose any
two heroes to defend you base, while the other hero gets left out.
That's the only thing I could see SC doing with heroes. Just a guess, but that's what other games
have done.
I'd be curious to see that graph myself, but it's really hard to use that for comparison because it's a situational type deployment with hero abilities. For example, you may have a BK get to the TH unmolested that you have to hit the ability prior to him taking any damage in order to get the DPS buff which would negate any health benefit.
Other times the BK may be way outside the base and you have to hit his ability to get him to the center quickly which also negates the health benefit.
With the AQ I know the total HP is still significantly lower and the BK is fairly close across the board, but only if you use the ability at a specific time after half his damage is gone. At that time, all your pekka's or witches on a high end attack may be dead with two IT's and 3 xbows bearing down on BK, and the health infusion is too late to matter.
The important distinction is the old BK had the full health from beginning to end as well as the DPS. Then his ability gave him a massive DPS boost, which was far greater than the new BK and his health was unaffected. So, you could use the ability early or late depending on the situation.
And then you have the fact regeneration has been slaughtered as well.
It is a mammoth nerf.
Lets be honest the main issue for the people that are lvl 10+ with heroes is that the cost of d.e is not worth it and lets not forget eatch lvl = more time regenerate so once they lower the cost and time they will get less complaint but for the ones that gemmed their heroes they should receive something idk 200$ gems or their money back or they get update earlier then us i really don t know ....
