4 Peaks – A TH7 Farming Base (v1.02)
The 4 peaks is a TH7 farming base I have designed to try to not only house the most important features of a base (i.e. Clan Castle and Hero) in the centre, but also to protect as many storages as possible, with a focus on Dark Elixir, while maintaining a number of key basics that each base should have, such as the placement of Splash Defences and the protection of Air Defences etc.

I am also currently upgrading my Air Defense so I have reshuffled my base to help keep as much Air Defense coverage as possible.

Features at a glance:
- Each Storage has it’s own compartment
- Centralised Clan Castle
- Centralised Hero (With the new update, all bases should strive for this)
- Dark Elixir behind 3 layers of wall (on 2 sides)

Explanations:
As you can see from the picture the base excels at a number of different aspects. As firstly mentioned, the Clan Castle and ever important Hero have been centralised as much as possible to making luring harder. Unfortunately the Clan Castle is not quite Lure Proof, but it is in such a position that would still make it a tough job. With the new update the Hero simply will not budge unless that first wall is breached on the North/South East side.
The base’s Mortars are perfectly triangulated to ensure maximum coverage of the base. You should also notice that each Storage is covered by a minimum of two mortars at any one time, great for Goblin Rushes.
The Wizard Towers and Air Defences have been placed at opposite sides for maximum coverage and although only placed behind 1 layer of wall, they each have 2 point defences taking the first hits and all 4 have some cover from the Mortars.
2 of the Storages are behind at least 2 layers of walls while the “exposed” ones with one wall of protection should find the majority of threats being sent through the trap system, to the North of the base.
Point defences are evenly spread around the base ensuring maximum DPS and effective area of attack.
The base is also editable to suit your needs. For example if you are not focusing on Dark Elixir, consider swapping it out for another of the Storages such as Gold.
Weaknesses:
Due to a lack of point defences, you will notice that one of the compartments housing 1 of my Elixir Storages has only a Gold Mine for protection in it’s cell. I have tried to make up for this by placing the trap system on the neighbouring side to help take some pressure off and by having 2 Mortars within perfect range and the third just about reaching it for any Goblins that surround it.
Secondary walls form improper junctions, doubt this is a huge issue for concern as they only need to protect one side.
