What is better for 2-3 starring other TH9 Bases? Or maybe there's a better strategy post-update?
As a TH9 myself, I find better success with GoWiPe.
GoWiWi is more reliant on heroes, and after their nerf, it doesn't feel nearly as effective. Also, because heroes actually defend, your troops will take more damage than they should.
GoWiPe on the other hand relies more on PEKKAs, which are most effective at deleting heroes.
Just my thoughts.
Gowiwi works if your heros are are really high and you want to 2 star a max th9/th10. Gowipe is in general a great army even if your heros are weak. Gowipe is easy to mess up when raiding because most players drop there heros and pekkas in to early meaning they wander off to the sides.
GoWiPe/GoWiWi are stragies that can 3 star nearly maxed Th9 as other Th9?
Is there any strong army composition like were hogs before update?
My Golem is only level 1 and Pekka lvl 2 so getting two stars isn't always easy, some fights in war I've managed getting pekkas/heroes in core but after th is down I haven't got 50%. Pekkas often die when core is empty and they work on the walls to move on. Maybe I just need stronger troops.
So what is generally better with heroes AQ lvl5, BK lvl12 -> TH9
GoWiWi or GoWiPe?
GoWiWi is designed to open a pathway to core for higher level heroes to hop in and destroy the core/th. Since your royals are combined 17 levels, I would recommend GoWiPe. If you have neglected upgrading your golems, it will be much harder to take on maxed TH9s.Quote:

The cookie-cutter GoWiPe comp is 2 golems, 3 Pekkas, 10-12 wb, rest Wizards. Some put in a couple barbs or archs. I have seen players have very successful attacks though using 1 Golem and 4 Pekka. With the new update, some people are using some Valks (lvl 4) into their Wipe comp...I think everyone's calling it GoVaPe. I personally haven't tried this comp as I normally use GoWiWi but I have heard some are having success with it.Quote:
