Double gem count

Ive been playing COC for about 4 months now and really enjoy it. Ive noticed now its starting to get really expensive to upgrade defense and troops for TH8. Every now and then I would make gem purchases to help speed things along. It would be very cool, like once a month, if they would have a double amount of gems you can purchase. As a promo. Instead of 14,000 make it 28,000 for 99.00 dollars and so forth.

They are still a top ranked game. There is no reason for them to discount gems because they know you are addicted enough that you'll still pay $200 for those 28,000 gems so why discount it now?

When they start doing wholesale discounts like this, it will be the sign that they are on their way out like many other free to play games that have come before them.
