Which forum should I post this in?

I was browsing the feature requests sub-forum and saw a lot of troop ideas. In almost every one, they were describing what the troop would look like, and I got an idea that I could draw a picture of the troops for them. Then I decided to put it in a single thread and have players request illustrations on it, but I don't know which sub-forum to put it in. If someone can tell me where this would fit in best, that would be great.

Sounds like it should be either in ideas/feature requests or creativity. If the focus is on the idea behind the troops, then ideas. If it will mainly be an art showcase, then creativity.

If your serious about actually trying to put the new characters into the game put it into Ideas/Future requests. If it's just some fan art saying, "it'd be cool if these were in the game", put it in Creativity.

Sounds like your pushing more towards Ideas and future requests.

Either of these two ,I agree.
I would push more on the creativity though.

What I'm trying to do is draw an image for existing troop ideas that other players suggested, so I guess it should be in creativity, but how do I let the other people know that I'm offering this if thread promotion is frowned upon?

Good idea. Last question, am I allowed to post links to my art if I post them on DeviantArt, or should I figure out how to imbed them on the post itself?

Imbedding them looks much better. Check Junliang's guide (link in my sig) for details on how to do it. :)

Edit: the [img][/img] tag is really all you need. Just paste the image location between them.

I just want to say that it sounds like a great idea and I can't wait to see them.

Cool, thank you for your help. I shall start the thread in the Creativity sub-forum and add a link to my signature.

FFFFFF I tried to edit the text for the link, but it decides to toss random tags in it so it doesn't work properly now. Help?
