New: Clan Management Option

I would like to see a UI that would allow a Clan Leader to set which features each role in a clan could have. (Maybe a matrix of checkboxes showing Role vs Feature?)


For example, I don't like the fact that Elders can Kick members but can't send Clan Emails.

Role/Feature	Member	Elder	CoLeader
Invite	X	X	X
Kick	-	-	X
Send Email	-	X	X

This would give Leaders a chance to customize the features of their clans a bit more

I agree. Elders should not have the ability to kick people, but to send messages.

The only thing that I don't agree with is the sending mail thing. Given elder is a bit easier to achieve, more people inside a clan will have it. And imagine your phone/tablet blowing up with notifications from the tons of messages elders are sending. Its kind of hard to manage who should send messages, so that why I think it should just stay with just Co and Leader. But I do like the member invites though, it would be so much easier to get members without the risk of having to give someone elder at the beginning of a clan just to recruit.

He meant that you can customize what each role can do. His table was just an example. Just clarifying :)

I'm not suggesting what features each role SHOULD have. I'm suggesting that Leaders have a way to define it for their individual clan...
