A sign of the slow decline of Clash of Clans

Today I went on global. It was a lot of time that I didn't go for personal reasons. The last time I went was 2/3 months ago when I was TH7.

I went at 3pm, the perfect time here in Italy because we have siesta at that time.
And I noticed that the amount of messages were considerably reduced compared to a few months ago. Also there were less people recruiting and the most of the people were talking about other things than the game.

what do you think? Have you noticed this sign too? (Please don't consider norsk global because that's a special case :rolleyes:)

I'm willing to bet clash of clans has more users than ever. After playing for a few days, I came to the conclusion that global was plagued with children and I haven't been back since. I wouldn't guage the games popularity based on global chat.

I'm currently in Masters 2 and went on global and had a real conversation! And I didn't get banned! English global! Nobody was recruiting!

Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings here, but what is the purpose of going on global chat? Just to chat with strangers? Doesn't the internet provide enough options for this? If you like chatting while playing the game, join an active clan. I've been playing this game pretty heavily for a few months; I've never posted anything in global chat and never will. Again, why?

you do relieze most ppl find a clan through global and the thing that attracts most ppl to the game is the community

I love this sign. SC should pay for evil things they have done!

My clan used to have 40-50 members. It is currently 20+. People leave every week. Some don't even log in for months.

I am planning on moving to another clan. After 2 days searching for a potential clan, I have found nowhere to go. Some clans have 85% inactive members (no rank, no donate, no request). Some are full of TH7 and TH8. It's hard to have a single TH10 among those. The others are single member clan.

It is really hard to find a clan in comparison to what it was some months ago. On the contrary, millions of people have been downloading and playing the game, it may take a few months to observe how many guys have left the game and how much does the sign affect!

No, I don't realize that. Do you know that for a fact?

And I like the "community" my clan offers, but we are a small group and have gotten to know each other a bit. Posting on global chat is just talking to strangers (probably kids).

I try to stay away from global as much as possible. I don't go to global because there are tons of children and annoying people. Why global when you have clan chat? Lol... On topic, CoC is not dead.

Lots of people dont go on global anymore. BTW i woulndt call that "Recruiting" its more like spam.
