Why do people choose to protect their xbows the most? At level 3 (TH 9 Max) they have 75 DPS, whereas hidden tesla at level 7 (TH 9 Max) has a DPS of 87.
Now because luring heros are impossible, should we choose to centralise heroes over xbows if we only had room to fit either one of the pair?
I'm a TH8 so idk much, but this is my opinion.
Depending on how you set your xbow(when i upgrade all mine will be set to ground), X Bows will always have longer range than your heros.
I've seen multiple raids from ChiefPat and many other Clash Youtubers where the queen just watches, and until she kicks in to fight the barbarian king or Pekka or army of skeletons from Witches just overwhelms her. I'd feel that your xbow has almost double the range and usefulness of the queen or king.
Furthermore, the health on xbow outmatches the tesla by far, and due to its significant range, its total Damage output > Tesla's damage output.
So, xbow in middle for me.
With my base I put xbows in the core. They cover most of the base that way. I place my heroes in the second ring.... They can't be lured out and they cover two gold storages each.
Xbows are continuous fire. Which makes up for there not so great dps, whereas you look at the archer towers and how they fire, they usually waste a shot, same as cannons/mortars.
Tesla and xbows are important for this reason.
As for heroes, placing them in the centre of your base can be good, but can also draw the enemy troops right to your th, leading to a loss ( or their win ).
Or you can find a base with a bigger core and put them all in there...

Teslas imo are more subjective. U can either place them on the outskirts of ur base to lure giants and spring them off. Or alternatively, place them near /with ur xbows to create a deadly DPS core.
For heroes, given the new update, i would place the AQ nearer to the core and the BK slightly further away- BK tanks damage while AQ provides cover fire.
Imo, xbows > teslas > heroes
Dont really like xbows, they do so. Little damage, so i would put heroes in the middle

xbows have a HUGE range (keep them set to ground) and will do more damage then any other deffense by FAR.
75dps that covers half you'r damn base, x2, thats why xbows rule.
teslas have little more range then an archer. they are good, but they are not xbows.
