Clan Wars - Claim/Mark Bases

Hey everyone, this is my first suggestion :)

It would be nice to "mark" the 1 or 2 bases you want to attack during clan wars so other members of your clan can see they're claimed. You would also be able to relinquish your claim. This doesn't mean other people can't attack them, it's just a way of letting the rest of your clan know your intentions. It also would help with clan discussion about who should attack which base; adding a new layer of strategy to the wars.

So what do ya'll think?

Seems like a good idea. Prevents disputes potentially caused by X attacking Y base that Z wanted to attack.

Choose your enemy in clan wars

From the clan war page, tapping on an enemy base could have the option to choose that base as your prefered target, letting everyone else know your preference. This option should 'not' allow for only a single player to choose that particular base, as many may prefer it as well. Also, by choosing a prefered target, you are not limited to that target solely, nor should it be stricken from the potential target list for others to attack, if already chosen.

If multiple players choose a single prefered target, this will help ensure a dialog between these members as how best to proceed.

The intent is strictly to have a visible means of determining who would like to attack what base during prep and war days, but in no way forces anyone to follow through with their choice, or limit others in theirs.

Not quite understanding your question, but maybe this will help answer you. This system is simply an indicator, allowing the rest of the clan to see that you would like to attack a particular base. The system will not lock you into your choice, nor will it lock out other clan members from attacking that base.

My clan is going through this issue once again. The only way to convey your choices is through clan chat, which only allows for those who are currently on line to see your choice, or by using third party apps, that not all clan members necessarily have. Both methods are less than reliable, but the later is somewhat working for us. An in game system will allow for the whole clan to be informed.

I'm guessing you guys are in low level clans or more of a relaxed clan. Organized mid level and up clans don't have this issue. Our feeder sees it with newer members but we either boot them or explain it so it doesn't happen again.

If your top player attacks anything below the opposing clan's top 5 then you need to boot him.

i am also with u
in my old clan it was just me and bunch of my friends where we used 2 tell each other whom v r attacking by clan mail as all were co
but as in my new clan and bigger clans not all r co so many times there r fights due to a person attacking a already picked base
so i highly recommend this idea

What TH level are you? Your second/third clan should understand teamwork or you need to find a new one.

No, I've been in three high profile clans within the same family and have now placed myself in their mini-clan due to my lack of activity. I've seen the confusion on both ends of the scale, though the main clans admittedly do suffer less. if your clan is that well organized, I envy you, but this addition would, in no way, change your cohesiveness.

Yes, if a high level player consistantly attacks the bottom or near bottom of the enemy list, they deserve a boot, but there are times when those high level players will need to do just that, and having an indicator will help with clan dialog in these circumstances.

I get really annoued when i claim my attacks by mail (im leader) and other people attack regardless. This morning i had to kick someone because they attacked my choice. This would help greatly. Maybe edit it so only co-leaders an leader can claim and if an elder/member tries to attack it replies "someone has claimed this base". How about that? 😊
