Send all orders away asking for 3 things.....get ur time lowered for personal train to at least 2 hrs....then add space for personal train.
Gifts come much faster.....dont bother with 3 requests...you will build EM and TEM much faster...
Point being...who cares about rep points once ya get beach cafe....turn your town into an efficient machine.
when they add more buildings...then be concerned about the rep points....once u get cafe.....cash in efficiently.
Trashing townies because they want 3 stops isn't something I'd suggest. Reaching rep level 13 pretty much just means that since you're currently maxed out, you can be more picky about it you serve a townie or send them away for whatever reason. Cash becomes a moot point after a while. If you keep gaining rep/xp, when new aspects of the town are added that require higher than level 13 towns, you'll most likely be able to get it asap. I still need reputation points, even though I have the beach cafe, because there are limits on expanding the personal train. You can't upgrade it until you reach the next level.
My personal train is maxed out for time, but can still have the number of passengers expanded. Often I don't need the full capacity of the train, but sometimes I do, and plan to fully expand it.
And I really don't need coins, XP, or vouchers at this point. So why not keep giving stuff to the townies? I do still need BEMs. (Don't need TEMs any more.)
My town is never full, and if I turned away those asking for 3 buildings, it would be even less so.
I thought if I kicked them out, they leave the system entirely. So you're saying the visitors I kick off the farm can get picked up by my Neighborhood buddies?

Yes, lp you send away who you haven't served go back to station and await a nh to pick them up. They become a 1 shop lp. They, at least mine, always turn into a much easier lp, grocery or diner.Quote:

I'm afraid you've lost me greatly, it's impossible to have a ghost town. Unless you just keep doing grocery store requests people in the "efficient plan" because spa at 30% = 6 hours. Spa at 30% is like 3.5 hrs or something. In the "E P" system you're picking up 4-5 new lp every 1.5 hours in your case. Over a 6 hour period in your case you're getting 16-20 lp who need 1 building request and then you get your gift.Quote:

Okay, so thinking about this some more this morning... do I really even need to wait until I get my last building? I feel like it would still be in my best interest to switch to this system as quickly as possible.
interesting different peoples strategy, I now don't turn away anyone usually and my town still is never full. It takes ages to get the NH train to be able to just do the strategy suggested, unless you don't mind lots of empty slots and buildings. I am on level 16 and my NH train maxed out to this level, can take 7 people from farms every one and a half hours so I could do the strategy but then I would have missed out on all those presents up till now.
it would have been slow and to me more boring doing only the NH train. with 30 people in my NH and a lot are high level town players, it can be very hard to find 7 lp as everyone is after the big lot of people, frequently as their train runs so often.
And when I did turn them away a lot were b&b or long time visitors which is fine if you are rejecting all main train visitors.
your chances are way reduced on getting TEMs as more volume means more chances. I have expanded all my town land at least a week ago and have maxed out all my buildings immediately upon levelling up as I have the TEMs to do so in each level.
It is true that once you get the beach cafe it is like the main farm after level 70 there is nothing to aspire to or get, but I feel they will add a clothing shop soon.
i suppose I just find serving the town fun and if I didn't give them the items I'd just sell them, I don't need the money and my rss still gets premium items and I get more fun time managing the town.
I will keep serving all visitors as usual. There will be more buildings & I want to keep leveling up!
If I am understanding the strategy correctly, the goal would be for everyone in the neighborhood to reject all of their regular passengers, thereby turning them all into single visit customers for someone else in the neighborhood. If you have a lot of people in the neighborhood doing this, then there will be many more visitors than usual for the personal trains to collect.Quote:

To do this strategy before high level the NH train is very limited in the amount of passengers it can take, and you are cutting way back in the rep points you get from those main visitors you are turning away so leveling up in town would be so incredibly slow, and thus you couldn't expand your main train to max or shops to get more money etc as you are limited per level in what you do.
I think it could be a good strategy for high level town players who may like doing more boat orders, sounds like a good NH if you can get everyone to agree to it and get enough high level players and don't mind a slower town. I like more people and more presents at the moment.
Yea, I agree. At a waaaaay high level town, it makes more sense... Kind of. But not at rep level 13. That's 4-5 every 1.5-2 hours. Not very productive, at least not more productive than doing the orders from townies dropped off by the train that comes every 6 hours.Quote:

Definitely take a break from the town if you need coins. Although I will say now that my slots and most xp are maxed, bnb time...that xp is just rolling in...I dont care about the reputation as much but a 30% bonus to xp is nothing to sneeze at...Quote:

In one day each slot of a building (full time upgrade) can be used:

That's 522 services (that could be 522 gifts, if all of them were personal train townies).
Regretfully, in one day a maxed out personal train can be used only 16 times, for a total of 160 townies. That leave us with a "deficit" of 362 townies.
On the other hand, a 30 member neighborhood, with maxed out express trains, could dismiss up to 30 * 4 * 12 = 1440 townies in a day, plus a few more from Greg's Town. That should give each member 46 townies (plus Greg's) for pickup daily.
Finally, a maximum of 12 * 4 = 48 townies can arrive to your town by express train each day, plus the ones you pick up from your NH and/or Greg's.
The principal issues with the "everybody dismisses his townies" method are:
1) There's nothing that can prevent that one member picks up more than his quota of townies per day.
2) There's no way to enforce that every member releases all his townies each time the express train arrives.
3) It's not realistic that each day every member will dismiss his townies four times a day (maybe 2 or 3 times could be more probable). That leaves between 24 and 34 townies per person plus Greg's.
4) It's even less realistic that a person is going to use his personal train every 1.5 hours.
On the other hand, you know in advance all the items needed to serve this kind of townie, so if you dismiss one at least you didn't spent any items.
In my opinion, the principal issues with the express townies are:
1) It's not realistic that each day you'll open your town each 6 hours (maybe 2 or 3 times could be more probable). So the number of express townies would be 36 per day (plus the personal train townies).
2) As your reputation level gets higher, each townie asks for more products, of several types, and wants to be served in more than one building. Serving express townies needs more time and requires more products, of which you know only the ones needed for the first building.
Of course, each of these townies will give you more experience, coins an reputation points than the personal train ones.
Now I'm only interested in the gifts, so the personal train townies look like a better deal (less items, all items known in advance, less time) vs. the express townies (more items, some items unknown, more time).

I think we are all expecting at least two new shops in town. There are 6 town tools, in which 3 types are used in a shop, so other than an expected clothing shop, there should be another one. Spa is at level 9, and beach cafe is at level 13. I think it is fair to say the next two are around 17 and 21. So I think its best to level to rep level 20 at least.
But that's only if you can find enough personal train townies. My personal train is maxed on time, and can pick up 7 passengers at a time. My Eggspress train is also maxed.Quote:

Every Eggspress visitor gets send off eventually anyway, either refused service at some point, or because all the orders are filled. I suppose if some of my neighbors are so full there's no room for Eggspress visitors it might make a difference, but most of us aren't in that place.
From where I am in the game, it's townies that I want most. Sure, I prefer the ones who want only one building, but there aren't enough of those, so I'll take anyone. It's not like there's anything better to do with the stuff that's clogging my barn.
One more shop, yes, for dresses. Not too high a level, I would assume, because those items are not high level. What else? jewellery? I would like that, but that might be a higher level shop. But I wouldn't expect the next shop too soon after the last update, so maybe not within the next 2 weeks. Plenty of time to level up slowly.
I'm at level 15 now and don't really see the point in focussing on coins or xp points. At the moment, higher level seems to mean just more greed from the customers. They demand more valuable items, but don't bring more presents. So what I'm trying to do, is to optimise the ratio between the stock I have to give them and the presents I get.
All upgrades were for slots and then to minimize time. All slots are maxed, nearly all buildings are at minimum times. NH train is at max speed and 5 passengers, which is quite enough, as there are practically never more visitors to be picked up, anyway.
My strategy is to put all passengers from the big train in the grocery or the diner first. Those who ask for premium products get booted right away. That's usually 6 or 7 of the 10 customers. They stand on the platform and can be taken by my NH friends. I had only one complaint about one being to greedy, the rest seemed to have learned their lesson :rolleyes:. Those that remain in my town will eventually proceed into the next building, where they may get 1 premium item, but not 2 or 3. If I have to boot them at this point, I got the xpoints only, but have not invested valuable items. In the third building they usually get what they want. Typically this is B&B or Spa, where their orders are usually no problem.
The rest of my customers come from other NH towns. They get 1 or 2 premium items, depending on my stock and mood.
With this tactic, I manage to serve a lot of customers without depleting my stock of premium items unduly.

I think the biggest benefit from an organized effort like this is that the members participating will spend far fewer items to get their TEM's over time. By turning all of the visitors to every farm into one-location-only visitors, it means that the players will have a much lower demand on their items, and will never have to wonder if turning them away is a good idea or not. It completely removed the unknown element of what the visitor might ask for next, and if the request is "worth" the chance to get a TEM.

The OP's strategy is a good one for lower levels who are on the hunt for TEMs.
Edit: Fully half of my 12 express visitors want two buildings, not three, which is nice but not necessary.
