Questionable Update ?

Village name changing.
Hello.
As you may know my name is XxBombDropKidxX otherwise known as BDK. I am writing this thread to ask for a special update which might bring joy to many people. My idea of the new update is that there could be a icon placed someone where on the screen which would enable us clashers to change the name of our village with the cost of gold. I thought of this idea because I made the name XxBombDropKidxX when I was eleven years of age. I am now currently nineteen and I would like to re-create a name that sounds.. Less childish. I hope you ride with my decision.

So your telling me you played clash of clans 8 years ago? the game came out in 2012... How could you make your name in 2006? Such a liar hahaha

I think he was saying he came up with that as a general use name on the web and stuff like that and he's since grown out of it. I don't think he was saying he played Clash 8 years ago.

As it is, I'm pretty sure this idea has been mentioned many times and has been ruled out.

Yes im am very sorry for the confusion. I uses the name XxBombDropKidxX when i first started playing minecraft. I was young then. I later started playing COC and used that name. Now as I am older i have grown out of the name and wish to change it.

Name changing has been ruled out by Supercell. The only way to change your name is to completely reset your game. So if you don't want to do that you are out of luck.

This idea has been ruled out.

You can change the village name if it contains personal info or is inappropriate

I personally recond that is a stupid idea, pardon my language, i do not understand why it has been ruled out ?

Can someone please explain to me why its been ruled out? Why cant we change the name of either our clan or our profile? It'd be so much nicer if we could... Kinda ridiculous to not be able to.

If you could rename your village (the ONLY identifier about you) then you could rejoin clans that had kicked you out, and cause chaos over and over and over again.
