Will anti-hog bases now be obsolete?

Hey guys,

I was doing some math on the new giant bomb bonus damage. Two level three giant bombs now deal 675 damage to hog riders. Assuming the attacker places a level six healing spell onto the area where the giant bombs are, the hogs will turn into delicious bacon if the two bombs trigger at most 1.5 seconds from each other (1 tick = 0.3 seconds).
475 HP + 40 HP * 5 ticks = 675

Based on this, do you guys think that full out anti hog bases will no longer be needed? This opens up more options to defend against other types of attacks , as long as the double giant bombs are placed smartly.

What are your thoughts?

When is the bonus introduce?i notice my entire hog toasted when attacking th 9 by double giant bombs, it is crazy

go to the setting in the game (the gears) and go to news , it have everything about the new update

Since last update. With the new lvl6 mini bombs, creating three frying spots will now be possible.

Anti Hog base will evolve

It should! :D

If I'm a TH8, I would still use an anti-hog base. A couple nights ago, I three star a max th 8 with level 4 hogs. His base was pretty box in.

All i did was put my town hall in the center instead of my clan castle, not sure if that counts as "evolving"

Hog raiders will always be Hog raiders...they will find ways even if it takes complex steps to lure CC troops and kill the Heroes before sending in the Hogs.

And expert Hogs raider doesnt do crazy spam 30 hogs at one spot. And he/she will even memorize the steps to start the raids....example: Lure 1 outer Hero to kill it......meanwhile send in 1 Giant and 1 hog into big bomb area to set off what he can. We will do this maybe at each sides while getting the CC troops to come out close to another Heroes.
Once the CC troops come out fully, its time to kill both the Hero and CC troop while the main Hog groups will start attacking for another side (to save time). Hog Riders now have to think a few steps combined instead of the usual steps before the upgrades...

So what is this gotta do with a Anti Hog base evolving?
1st the Heroes need to be closer to the core and protected by Wiz towers at both ends. Protecting the Heroes is now a good thing. Now, instead of the raiding luring out the Heroes, its the base luring in the raiders lol

2nd is base will have more empty spaces. The more empty spaces it has, the more the hog raiders are afraid.

3rd is bases will change design especially the core and wall. Funnels walls that are meant to make Giants, Hogs, balloons to go round the base may change. Adding layers of walls and small boxes as time wasters for the Valk and Wiz and limit their movement after a jump will be introduces...and maybe even go back to old skool design.

These are some of the changes I see coming up soon.
