Hero Regeneration: Now outdated, detailed solution to fix inc Spreadsheet
Please note: This post focuses purely on the change in regeneration rate since the hero update. If you wish to complain about dark elixir cost, drop in DPS or HP. Please look elsewhere.
This is focusing on regeneration ONLY.
One thing that frustrates many players is the collateral damage the HP reductions have caused to hero regeneration. Our heroes take longer than every to recover from the smallest of wounds.
In fact, all the way to lv 27 for our king, and lv 30 for our Queen regeneration constantly gets worse. When you are waiting 7 days for an upgrade at this point and paying well over 100,000 DE there is extremely little reward for effort in this regard.
I have got some nerdy spreadsheets to look at the old rules, the new rules - and a proposed change to the rules.
My proposal aims to maintain a very similar regeneration rate from lv 1 to 40. Also opening the door for the formula to flow into potential lv 50 heroes in the future - should SuperCell decide that is part of the games future.
This also removes the unusual freeze in regeneration increase from lv 31 to 40. Allowing an even flow from 1 to 40.
In the spreadsheet the starting, low and high points in regeneration are highlighted.
Summary:
Change Barbarian Kings regeneration to +2.5 minutes per level, currently 4 minutes. All the way to level 40.
Change Archer Queens regeneration to +2 minutes per level, currently 4 minutes. All the way to level 40.
