TH8 is way too difficult to play already

im so sorry bud . u should have at least maxed out ur offense, at least ur farming troops and camps

My trophy level is 1000. Silver 2. I tried fighting someone from 1200 range I got trashed.

I suggest you youtube how to get a lot of loot and how to know if the loot is in the collectors/mines rather than the storages. Yu can easily get at least 100k of each resource just going after pumps if you know how to send troops in waves. Obviously if your 100 gobs got taken out in 3 mortar shots you're doig it wrong. You need to be patient and look for bases with their loot specifically in their mines and collectors because it will save you a lot of time and troops. A bunch of gobs can empty a collector in a couple seconds and on to the next one, where a mortar shot will probably be behind them. Gobs to 2x damage to resources, take advantage of that. They're cheap and extremely useful.

I feel like I'm wasting my time with this because he's not even going to pay attention to anything I just said. But it's worth a shot. Google and youtube how peoe get a lot of resources in raids and you'll be successful. That's all I gotta say

I'm not being ignorant but everytime I wanna post a reply I have to login again and return to the home page and browse again. It's very annoying.

My goblin ain't high level enough to wipe out the collectors in seconds before the mortar hits. Further more wizard towers aren't any kinder and they're so much faster than my gobs.

Yeah I'm at the 1000 range.

For bases I can raid with Barbs they give me 5000 elixir loot max
For bases that give me more than 30k loot, there are at least 3 mortar and 3 wizard tower waiting for me.

I am th8 and I have never had problems with loot. I am constantly at more than 5,000,000 elixir and I am upgrading my walls to level 8 with the extra gold I get. Try going to around 1400-1500 cups and using this strategy:
92 barbarians
92 archers
8 wall breakers
Ideally you are not going to be using your wbs and your spells... I usually spend around 50'000 gold before I find a 200,000 gold 200,000 elixir base. From your comments it seems like you upgraded too fast and you don't really know how to attack properly (not being able to take down players in silver 1? Really? )

I'm also a TH8 and I'm having the exact opposite problem you are, my elixir storages are ALWAYS full. I've never found better loot than I have at TH8 and if you can't find a raid for more than 30k you're doing something wrong. Whenever I raid I never settle for less than 200k gold, I don't go for elixir since as previously mentioned I always have 6 million. There are several things I think you're doing wrong:

-Too low of a trophy league
Move your trophy count up to about 1300 at the very least. As a TH8 I farm in 1500-1800 and always find decent loot, but where you're at there probably isn't enough worthwhile raids. You have said already that you won't be able to beat anyone above your trophy league and that's untrue and your fault for upgrading early. There will be bases you can beat but if your problem is loot you shouldn't be looking for bases to beat, you should be looking for loot! MY recommendation is town hall snipe to get trophies and attack bases with lots of loot in their collectors, very simple. However, this is only feasible if you up your trophy level, I guarantee this is the main reason you can't find loot.

-Not hitting next enough times
This one is pretty self-explanatory, you simply don't hit next a lot. You need to spend gold to make gold, and you shouldn't be raiding one of the first 5 villages you see. Spend more time searching for a good base.

-Not prioritizing loot
As I mentioned earlier, you shouldn't be so interested in winning the battle than you should be in finding loot. Look for loot in collectors and take the loss, and then snipe people's town halls that are outside of their base to maintain trophy count.

-Uneducated on the basics of farming
Finally, at TH8 you should be farming in order to keep progressing in this game. I don't have any guides to link you to but a quick forum search or queue on Youtube would allow you to learn the basics. Essentially, put your town hall outside your base and protect your loot on defense. For offense I recommend using an army of half barbs and half archers and just raiding their collectors. Simple, cheap, effective.

Overall the only way things are gonna change is if you change them. You can't downgrade your Town Hall, and I guarantee these tips will work. Yes, you have to play a little different but that's the whole point of a game! To adapt to different circumstances and persevere. In conclusion, do what you want because it is a game to enjoy and if you won't enjoy it don't play it, but don't come on the forums whining about loot when plenty of people can do just fine at TH8 and don't immediately give up when a curveball gets thrown at them.

When you were TH 7 you should have been able to raid th7s as well now that your th8 you can still raid th7 with only a slightly loot penalty. Did you not max your barbs, archers and giants before upgrading?
Also you will probably need to Make sure you have someone in your clan to coach you since it sounds like you could improve how you attack if your having trouble.
Are toy sending all your troops up center? Often it helps to spread them out a bit to spresd splash damage.

Also I see some people in my clan messing IP by dropping troops too slowly and from a bunch of different sides too unfocused of an attack.

You wanna avoid both. Watch some YouTube video examples of how to bam and barch.
