Information Page for the clan Valhalla Legacy

Our Mission: To build a clan with 40-45 members who are active in clan wars, chat and donations. To build a friendly, supportive chat and to have a clan where each member contributes his or her part.

Requirements to Join: The current trophy level to apply is 1000. However, players below that level may still be invited, or will be allowed to apply if contacted via forums or global chat. We also require new players to be lvl40.

Note that current players will not be kicked or forced to leave if they are still under the requirement to join. This is for new members only.

Donation Requirements: New members MUST donate before their first request. Not following this rule is immediate kick. Also, a minimum donation ratio of 1:3 is recommended, but if you need troops feel free to ask for them. You MUST donate the correct requested troops. Likewise, requests should be vague to allow most members to donate i.e. "Archers please" or "balloons only" or "anything." However, requests may be more specific for Clan War attacks.

Code of Conduct: Minor cussing is allowed. However, this does not mean a constant stream of foul language is okay. We want to be a friendly clan! Also, personal attacks on other members will NOT be tolerated. Personal attacks and extreme cussing will be grounds for immediate kicking and ban. Furthermore, being irritating or annoying detracts from a friendly atmosphere, so that will result in a kick as well. As Agoom says, "Dont be a jag"

Policy on Leaving: This clan does not tolerate hoppers. If a player leaves and plans to come back, he must let an elder know. Hoppers will not be let back in.

Inactivity Policy: From time to time real life may intervene in the game. If a player knows he will be inactive for a time he must let an elder know. He will then be asked to leave the clan and go to our inactives clan, Valhalla Fallen. Players may return to VL when they are active again.

Clan War Policy: We will war twice a week: war will be declared Sunday and Wednesday Evenings.
It sucks to lose a clan war. In order to win, we need every member to attack. A player who does not attack at all will be kicked at the end of the war; elders will be demoted first. If you cannot make your attacks, notify an elder before the start of war, and you will not be kicked. The following are the Clan War Rules:
1. Use both attacks.
2. Use a war strategy i.e. balloonions, giant-healer, wiz-healer, mass drag, etc. No goblins or barching.
3. Remember to lure the clan castle.
4. Go for the three stars 🌟🌟🌟
5. Attack someone near your number.
6. Plan your attack beforehand with the help of other players on chat. Also, help other members plan their attacks.

Promotions: Promotions are given to those players who are helpful and active in chat, and donate well. Players who beg, or ask several times, for promotions will be told to stop or kicked.

Duties of an Elder: The job of elders is to advise other members on how the game and the clan operate. The are the leaders and mentors. They may accept applications, and are responsible for ensuring the applicant feels welcome and educated with the rules. They may also kick a member who breaks the rules. Elders who abuse their privilege will be demoted.

Co-leader: A co-leader may be picked if the leader decides that an elder is completely trusted to run the clan. This promotion will not be given lightly. The co-leader has all the authority of the leader.

Recruiting: All members are encouraged to help in recruiting so we can gain more members. There are 4 basic ways to do this:
1. Global chat. Be cool, ask people to join, if elder invite people.
2. Invite all clanless people on your league list.
3. Invite real life friends or family to join.
4. Forums. I will be making a recruiting page, called ValhallaLegacyRecruiting. You can post there about how awesome we are, and people will read that and might decide to join. Also go to the 'Looking for a Clan' section and invite people there.

Conclusion:
We are building a strong, friendly community in our clan. This requires activity in chat, war, and donations. We are looking for players who will help the clan grow, not be a drain on everyone else.

Clan events or rule changes will be posted here from time to time, so check here occasionally.

I mention Luring in the war rules, but I know many members don't know what this means. This is the single most important thing to do when attacking in clan wars, and it makes all the difference during the rest of the battle.

Those troops that we donate on the war screen? The other team has those too. They come out of the clan castle when we attack them. They can rip apart an army, so we need a way to combat them: luring.

To draw troops out of the cc, you must place a troop within its range. For smaller bases, this is easy, but with larger bases, a balloon or hog may have to be sent in to go for an inner defense to trigger the cc. Keep in mind every base is different.

Now for the kill. Now that the troops are out they will hunt your troops anywhere on the map. Spawn one archer ot barb in an empty corner. This will draw the enemy troops over there. As soon as they are in empty space, you can drops your troops to kill them!

The best troops to use in killing enemy ccs are wizards and archers. I personally use 3-5 wizards and 5-10 archers. A lightning spell might work too, but it might not kill everything.

If the target has been attacked already, you can watch the replay to see what troops are in the cc. If not, watch for patterns in the clan. For example, most people in the first war we had had hogs in their cc, so it was safe to assume that most enemy bases held hogs. Most of the time, bases hold Archers, Wizards, and Dragons. Minions, Hogs, Barbs, and Witches are occasionally seen.

I have chosen Xixakid to be our first coleader because of his awesome donations, so congrats!

His specific job is to be the Donate Policeman. He will recognize players with either a ratio below 1:3, or players who just have low counts of donated troops. He will then contact them on clan chat, and tell them to imporve their donations. If the player does not, xixa shall refer them to Cook for further analysis.

With any luck, this new position will increase the total number of donations of our entire clan!

Also, remember that it is always OK to request troops if you need them. That just helps everyone else get their donations up!

I looked at your thread and liked what I saw I'm posting on your thread to tell you I would like to join your clan it looks good and I understand the rules

Tbrush will be our 2nd coleader. His job will be War Chief. He is in charge of coordinating war cc donations. He is also responsible for helping people plan their attacks and being an example with his own awesome attacks. He will also help coordinate who will attack who in war. He ahould also make sure people use all their attacks in war, and try to remind them on chat.

Basically, it is Tbrush's job to organize what we need to do to win Clan Wars!

Note: Post-war kicks due to not using attacks will still be handled by Cook.

From time to time, players will go on vacation or be too busy to play Clash of Clans. Thats fine, real life is always more important! So I created a clan for us to go when we know we will be inactive for a time. Players will be welcome back in VL when they are active again!

Hopefully this will help make our clan more active and strong!

Because of our huge population boost, we now have over 45 solid members! We will soon be overflowing! What a great problem to have. For this reason, we can set requirements to join so that the clan can continue to grow with strong new recruits!

The new level to join is 40. This is black-and-white and non-negotiable. This rule must be followed to maintain the integrity of our recruiting process.

Also the cups to apply was bumped to 1000, but players below this may still be invited.

Note that current members below lvl40 will NOT be kicked or forced to leave. We want them to stay with us and reach that goal!

Our newest co is Joe. Joe has been with the clan since the very first night it was born. Wow! He has come quite a long way in his time here, and he has proved to be super loyal and an amazing clanmate. He now uses his skills to instruct newer members and show great leadership potential. Congratulations!

Thank you for this opportunity and I look forward to helping the new memebers to the utmost of my abilities. I'm glad to have stuck with you guys because this clan is a group of amazing people. Lets make this clan even more epic than it already is and kick some butt.

This evening our longtime friend and member Agoom20000 presented the leadership with an idea. Since our clan is mostly full, he wanted to strike out on his own and build a brother clan! This will be called Valhalla Gate. All levels will be accepted; there is no requirement to join at this time. VG will have the same rules and war schedule as VL. Members of VG who reach lvl40 are given the option to join VL, but are encouraged to stay to continue to help VG grow! Also, current members of VL with two accoubts are encouraged to send one account to VG, in order to facilitate communication between the two groups.

Hopefully this will be a profitable and prosperous venture for our growing family of clans!!

we are doing good will hopefully be whining out some weak player and will be looking for quality TH8's to take their place. We have won our last two wars handily and would love to see some new faces. if you have times and are looking for a good up and coming clan send us a request to join we'll look you over maybe ask you a question but for the most part you'll be welcomed with open arms. people who are inactive or do not participate in wars need not apply. we have a tolerance for poor attacking however we want to see a member putting in the effort to get better at however you choose to attack. we always fill war CC and would love people with amply upgraded troop to donate to bases. if you are looking for a clan you can quickly move through the ranks this is your clan. However you will not be promoted as soon as you join. you first most show yourself as a proficient attacker once this has been done the likely hood of you promotion is almost guaranteed. However do not join and ask for elder or I will kick you out myself because I find this very annoying. if you have any further questions send me a message or simply apply and ask question in chat or request and one of us will happily answer it.
