anyone happy with the surprise from the wallbreaker?

I use about 5-10 per attack and around 20-30 attacks per day so that's about 100-200 so its true that you can use hundreds a day. I get about 3-5 mil a day so my looting isnt that terrible. I understand the new wb ai...only complaint is that after a wall is broken, sometimes it continues breaking the same wall making it wider and wider.

- they open empty compartments
- they widen empty and already opened compartments

something they shouldn't do but I guess all people not understanding this should further "study" why this happens....

I prefer the new AI, it adds change and change is always nice. Spikes were OP. The only thing I dislike about the new AI is more boring base designs, no more awesome spikes that shoot outside the base.

so spikes were effective against wall breakers but generally to employ spikes you sacrificed your ability to defend against other types of attacks, for example raging giants/goblins would usually break into a spiked base quite easily since there was only a single wall between you and the resources.

with the new wall breaker AI it is easier to make a base that can both frazzle wall breakers as well as other types of attacks (i.e. raging giants/gobs etc) since the defense against both those attacks now is lots of nested compartments.

I wish the wbs would just run in a straight line from where you deploy them-no need for broken ai. Just make them run in a straight line and not turn in crazy directions. Problem solved.

If they implemented that there will be no need to design your village, since wbs can easily hit ANY wall you desire.

I don't care if it's old or new wb ai.. Even if it will be improved again, we will find another way to defend against it and also how to use it.. We were born to adapt..

Seems to be alot of mixed feelings here. I personally enjoy the new ai it's all a matter of being able to predict them, once you know how they behave just like the old wb ai you will find yourself using them very effectively.
