I managed to get to master with TH7 to get the extra gems for my 4th builder. I think it is easier to get to master at TH7 than at any later THs unless u r talking a high lvl 9 or 10. Mainly due to loot penalty from other TH9 or 10.
Make sure u have a maxed TH7 so u keep your storages low. Below 700k each for gold n elixir and below 5000 DE.
When u have too much gold, buy flags. Elixir? Train dragons but always keep 5 barbs n abt 15 archers. Too much de, train some hogs.
And dont have castle troops. U lose more trophies if u have castle troops.
And put yr TH outside. Yes outside! 1 in 2 raiders on my base at crystal 3 n above just take the TH, because if they r TH10 theres not much loot to get. They will use an archer queen to get yr 1000 gold n elixir.
When u see another TH7, try to 3 star using yr 6 dragons n 12 hogs. Weak TH8s too. Otherwise stick to TH sniping. And becareful of idiots who stick their Th outside which r lined with teslas n AD n inferno towers.
Know their range esp the inferno tower. U cannot beat them. Click next. But u wont n u will learn a lesson or 2. Teslas r fine with hogs to get them n dragons with rage spell. Careful of AD which r too close. Or even AQ or BK or castle. As dragons will ignore the TH to take on those troops first. Unsure click next.
Have a look at the defence base to see how much loot they have. If they want shield for the storages, most probably theres no teslas arnd the TH. If they r low, then it will b a trap to get trophies from u. Leave those bases with holes next to THs which r in the middle. U may get 1, but if u lose, u will lose 30+ trophies.

And never fall for the trap where they leave a hole in their base next to the TH...you likely will never be able to take it down....trust me!

btw it took me 4 days to get from 2500 to 2600. Cos u will lose 30-40 trophies each time. And so u need to come on every 12 hrs or 16 hrs depending on yr shield to get more than the trophies u lost the last time round. If u have spent 100k searching for a base and u have yet to find 1, log out n back in again. If u spend again another 100k looking. Then u need to come back later unfortunately.

Max your base first then any resource is not a requirement.
Why would a TH10 take your base if all they can get is 10k of gold or elixir? Some will, just for the fun of it but 50% will not.
I have even gotten rid of flags to buy them again just to use up some gold. :D

Hey Doku, it's Pantharr from APOTHEOSIS. I'm assuming you have the basics: maxed army camps, barracks, spells and troops. If you don't, that's okay too. You won't really need it unless you're pushing for Champs.The most important thing you need to know is not to use dragons. If you are using dragons, you have to know HOW them. If you are Town Hall sniping, ANY troop will work that can attack the town hall. At Th7, level 4 troops like barch and BAM will be useless to try to get 50% on a Th10, as you need to clear our approximately 43 buildings to get the 50%. The transition from Crystal 1 to Master 3 the hardest part. Even harder than Master 3 itself. You can ask anyone higher than Master 3 in our clan, and they will say Crystal 1 was the hardest. What you need to know is that there ARE town halls on the outside. But they take way more than 100k gold to search for them. If you want to use dragons, search for AaroNeo Push to Master Part 8, 9, 10. He uses dragons very efficiently. I will be making a full guide soon. Hope this helps for now.
