TH7 Pushing to Masters- Help

Hey all. A few days ago, I managed to snipe to Crystal league from Gold III in two days. Of course, after achieving this I wanted to keep going to Masters. Unfortunately there is virtually no farmers up here and every time I log off someone 3 stars me, most being revenge raids losing 40/50 cup each time, which is pretty much hours of searching for a farmer.

I've tried various strategies from BARCH, archers, BAM with Dragons but they all seem to fail and very rarely scrape a 1 star win, usually with the help of spells and BK (Dragon raids are an exception to this but they take way too long to train and I'd lose more than I'd gain). Does anyone know how to get to masters as a TH7? Also, I've checked army camps of several TH7 pushing clans such as the APOTHEOSIS clans (founded by Sparhawk, first TH7 to reach Champs) and Savage Seven (TH7 exclusive clan who has 3 people in Champs, 11 people in Masters and the rest in Crystal. Their army camps usually consists of Dragon raids, Archer raids or BAM. How? I've tried them all but only Dragon raids seem to actually work. Help?

Hmm. Have you personally tried it?

i am th8 it took forever why do you want to do it? youll be breaking even in gems lol? so naive

Personally, if I wanted to snipe, I would also bring in other units to loot, barch combo works well, or BAM.
Snipe town hall and go for storages, etc. Or even destroy town halls that are in the first layer of the base.
BAM,
requires higher level minions, as those are the backbone. A group of raged minions, 30 or so, would do devastating damage to a base in a short period of time. As long as the air bombs are not encountered/lured out, the air defences cannot take the minions out quickly. But watch out for wizard towers, as those do horrendous damage on minions.

As th7 I sniped up to 2506 and then gave it, was too hard and stressful always trying to keep the game alive when driving etc.

When clan wars started and you didnt have two bases war/normal I was th8 and I sniped and fought normally and made masters but there were MUCH FEWER farming bases than now since now you can have a farming base and a war base/protected townhall at same time.

tldr; its WAY easier to find farming bases but, yes, it will take a long time and tons of gold.

It's hard, that's why it's worth it. Stats don't lie!

2-6 dragons, some mix of barbarians, archers, and minions, and lots of patience.

The exposed townhalls can be found all the way up, but often booby-trapped with hidden teslas. The dragons are good for that, and also work very well if you find another ambitious th7 on the way...

I went to masters using this:

12 lvl 5 giants- destroys any lvl teslas x4 around any th
70 lvl 5 barbs
70 lvl 5 archers

a fast to train, cheap army which also can destroy most th7's that are in Crystal

3 healing spells when needed, sometimes a rage instead

sometimes I used 30 gobs just for a little farming action when possible.

I'm visiting a TH7 pushing clan, they say there are lots of farmers in Champs. Yeah, but I got the gold and elixir and the dedication too :)

You don't get lvl 5 troops at th7, and lvl 4 troops don't really cut it above crystal 1.

In my experience the only thing you have at th7 that will get you anywhere against th 9 & 10 defenses is dragons, but I'm sure other people have found their own solutions.
