Need help attacking
Hello I new to clash of clan and starting to get the hang of attacking bases. I have around 750 trophies and starting to notice that peoples base are getting stronger and harder to take down (which is the point, I get it). But I'm not sure how much of each troop i should have and what to attack first. I usually get 4 giants, 20 archers, 20 barbarians, and 10 goblins. Is that ok or should I change it? I usually try to find one with the mortar close to the outside and take that out first and then deploy my barbarians and archers but the cannon + archer tower take out my troops really fast too.
Any help would be great ^__^!

Read Flammy's guide; it should help a lot.

Guides are stupid and long. What you need to know is always upgrade troop camps before anything else. M

Next use more giants, I suggest 10 at least. Then follow them with archers. Focus on using these 2 until you get the hang of it.

so i should focus on getting my army camp bigger? or should the town hall be the focus?

Attacking other people
What a tip should be is when your attacking use a lightning to get rid of the mortar then deploy troops

Dude he is like TH4-5, so don't use lightning even if you can.

Attacking with just barbarian and archers can get you through this whole game.

Yes, you should max out your army camps first. It always help when your start off a day of raiding with as many troops as you can. But don't use all the troops if you don't need too.
At th5, I'm not using many giants, just gobs and barbs and I only attack bases I know I can get to the mortar quickly and get a lot of gold. 50k ish. I just use fast training and cheap troops.
On my near max th7, where i always find i have more elixer than i need, I use 10 giants, a handful of wall breakers, the rest split between archers and gobs. I only raid 150k plus gold bases and at least enough elixer to cover troops.
Although people will disagree with me on this, get your gold / elixer pumps to the one day upgrade, do it then stop. I have found that at the lower Th's, that loot is very valuable when you can't raid for a ton of loot.
Once you get all that done, focus on mortars/ wizard towers, upgrade the troops you use the most, archer tower / canons and then the rest that is left over.
When I upgrade barracks, I tend to try to get them all going at the same time so that I can just not raid for that period of time. I dislike being down just one barrack, it increases build time significantly.
Lastly, save your gems for builders.
