What happens when both stars and damage is tied? Will there be a sudden death or is it an outright tie and split the rewards?

I'm in silver two. I can't imagine being a Th 8 in MASTER LEAGUE. EVERY HEARD OF FARMING. THAT WOULD BE NERFING THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE GAME.
