I use BARCH a lot to farm for resources as it is the most effecient form of attack.
However, today I lost 4 attacks losing a number of trophies and the 'raidable' resources.
This is mainly because the heroes in the centre cause havoc as they cnanot be lured. It is easy to deal with the barb king as he jumps over the walls and towards the barbs/archers. However, the archer queen stays behind the walls killing my barbs/achers with one shot.
Any thoughts?
Blitz the buildings she is guarding, and then ignore her. After those buildings are destroyed you can safely ignore her. Works for me this morning.
The barchers in my clan say barch is easier now with the unlurable heroes.
I did a couple of barch attacks today as well, and I felt the same way.

I've done 5 attacks using BARCH(my method of farming) and it's been sooo much easier for me with heroes out of the way lol.
BARCH is boring, I hope it's dead.
If you're just barching, you're going for outside resources and have no business in the center of the enemy's base. If their heros are centralized, you shouldn't have any trouble clearing the outside of a base for easy loot. If anything, this will make barching for farming or barching for trophies easier. If heros are off-center, then they may be more difficult to handle when barching.

I'm liking the new updates so far. It was really cool seeing the Barbs and Archers targeting 1 wall to break through it rather than 5 different walls. They smoked the level 8 wall in no time.
most people havent adjusted there heroes after the update because they dont know the changes or because they havent logged on yet. Because of this i seen a lot of heroes in stupid places where you can take tons of the loot and base out without having to worry about the hero. i think as time goes on people will start placing the heroes in better places when they find out the hero works differently.
i dont know about barch, but bam is still good and works
well the problem about aq is not so much that she stays behind walls its that archers who's only speciality is that they shoot over wall, when it comes to heroes and cc troops, always choose to destroy the wall to get to them even though they are actually within the archers range so the archers can shoot them over the wall but instead they will always attack the wall and only go for heroes and cc troops once the wall is down. that is stupid cause they all day trying to destroy a meaningless wall.
i don't think the new heroes are that much of a problem for barch though my barch attacks are doing just fine after the update although the heroes can be annoying when going for de
Barch is fine,I normally try to avoid alerting heroes when I barch as it wastes time that I need,now that's not a problem with the heroes sitting safely in the core,the ai change was advertised as being big,but tbh barely noticeable in my opinion as I use wallbreakers or just bunch them up manually so it's better than ever.

I HATE THE UPDATE AND WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO HEROES..... But their new abilities also have a positive effect on barch. You save heroes to the last second, to get the very last few % if needed. Just before they take down the last building needed, you quickly hit their abilities and heal them up for e next raid.
Like most have said I believe that Barch has become an easier farming strategy. I don't have to worry about Heroes being alerted and running around the base while I try to get the last of the resources.
They are like some animals... you leave them alone and they leave you alone.
Barch is easier for me now pffffffft stop complaining
I'm having a easier time with Barch now that's just me though.
This isn't a huge blow to barch, I know I'll be continuing to barch.

I did a number of B-arch attacks last night, using 200 level 5 troops (TH8). I found it worked really well, possibly better than ever.
Collector raids were easier, as heroes do not chase your troops all over the place. Especially so, if there is no AQ.
Cracking into the middle of a base was actually easier, because your barbs will chew through walls quicker. However, you do need to use spells for this, which is pretty much how it's always been - personally I prefer a healing spell or two, maybe even a rage on top, to keep the barbs alive under some splash damage. But yeah, I had 2-3 really good raids where I smashed right through the guts of TH8+ bases and got loads of gold, elixer and DE.
If you are TH10, well you are probably up against bases with an AQ, where she can be a real pain... otherwise, it's all good.
barch is a piece of cake now, what are heros lol. did 3 mil gold today with little trying
unfortunetly barch is even more effective now. this was alway's a buff for barch and anyone who said otherwise didnt understand the game.
it is also stupid you can go through this game almost completely by using only the 2 weakest troops. wether it's loot or trophies all you need is barch. thats not a good thing. only clan war attacks you dont need barch for.
Can you guys remember all the people saying BARCH was going to die right before the update? lolol

Barching has been a bit rough for me today, but I attribute it to the fact that it is an update and updates = bad loot. So I really don't have a comment on this since it could be the AI (though I doubt it), but in a few days when the loot starts springing up I can maybe get a good collection of how it truly feels after the update.
