I just got to lvl 38 and I sadly am really low on coins so I cant get the jeweler.
I am on the verge of quitting because saving up gold is really hard and being self sufficient to sell expensive stuff is also very difficult.
I usually buy all my crops from markets and then make stuff and give it to town people but now I really feel bad because I have a building unlocked but I cant make it.
do you guys recommend selling EVERYTHING that I have in my storages?!?
I would suggest never buying crops at all. Unless you're not paying attention and you use all, but then just buy enough to get you restarted.
Don't buy farm decorations either if you do.
Find things you can make quickly that will always sell. Animal feed always sells almost immediately in my store. Sell as many high value items as you can in the DD. Don't sell them to the farm visitors or truck or boat orders.
Any time you see something cheap in the DD buy it and resell it. Lots of people sell eggs at the default price - 10 eggs for 50. You can sell them anywhere between 100 and 150 and they will get sold pretty fast. I sell mine for 123 because I like consecutive numbers. :D
If you don't need to expand your buildings urgently sell any tools you get too.
Don't give up. I remember when I had to save money to buy new buildings. Now I've got 4.3 million and I can buy/build pretty much anything I want.
You can plant corn and sell it for full price. If you have ~15 RSS slots, and ~500 silo capacity by the time you are getting full, someone will come along and buy 10 to 15 slots of corn. Advertise on every cycle of harvest&plant. If your silo gets full take a 5 minute break and continue. Run your machines and make products.
You can almost make 5k coins/hour only from corn. You can also make bread and chicken feed constantly. They are almost in-synch with your harvest/plant cycle and are sold very fast. You don't have to advertise them. They will be sold anyway.
I'm only on level 28 have similar issues as you. I decided to sell off nearly every thing of value and now just make bread, sugars, butter & cream and sell them in the RSS. I also make animal feed. I'm collecting BEM and selling off SEM and land expansion materials for now. I've been able to raise about 20K in a day's time doing this. I didn't want to get into the "wheating" thing so this is what I do.
Bread is a great suggestion. It always sells at full price very quickly and it doesn't need any valuable resources to make.Quote:

What I did:
stopped doing truck orders, serving farm visitors, doing boat orders or helping others with crates unless super easy ie crops/eggs etc

As well as making lots of coins, playing like this means you earn very few XPs and you level up very very slowly so you can make sure you're up to date on all your machines before you level up again and yet another one unlocks.
I went from being poor as a church mouse at level 39 to being a millionaire at level 46 so this method definitely works, but I was prepared to spend some 'real' money to buy diamonds and hire Tom and I know this isn't an option for everyone, and there was no town to worry about then either - but if there had been I think I would have had to ignore it/put it on the back burner whilst I built up coins.
Ive noticed that lately there are very few people who sell items very cheaply, its almost as if the DD is 'dead'. Any tips on finding cheap stuff?

Here's a question. If I sell all of my expansion material will the game give me more than compared to if I hadn't sold those items?
Can anyone give me double coins for town expansion material? Like I give you on max price then you sell it back to me on 1 coin then I sell it back to you forever again at max price?
