I have to admit the upgrade times are the worst thing about Teslas, but they are great when maxed, I actually think compared to a lot of other upgrades, Teslas are comparatively cheap, although I can see lvl 7 will be in the 6-8mil range. Because of the upgrade times, I actually upgraded my Teslas as soon as I had finished my Mortars and Wizard Towers, just to get them over and done with, and 4 lvl 6 Teslas have proven to be brutal to oncoming attackers.
There worth doing once you've finished the mortars and wizards, I've just maxed all 3 to level 6 and are really good.
Takes ALOT of time but if farming at TH8, get them done.

Advice - start it as soon as you get it and continue with it using the same builder. Once your done, its a great sense of achievement :)
Mah I like my level 6 teslas
They are too lazy to raid for the high cost of their upgrades.
Teslas are great, the only problem is they take too long to upgrade and are expensive, which is why most players decide to leave the for later on and its not like they are bad at lvl1 either...:DQuote:
