What is the reason why everybody neglects teslas?

Brilliant breakdown! I may only add one thing - Teslas are also free of refill, therefore strong(er) defense at no charge. X-bow on the other hand requires constant and pricey refill. Teslas win if you compare stats. I am however slightly bias towards an x-bow strictly based on my base design, x-bow's reach range and fact that I am still farming. ;)

Teslas are soo worth upgrading. they fk up lots of attacks if placed correctly.
lvl6s 1shot lvl5 wallbreakers, if placed at perimeter they own all the wallbreakers.
lvl6s also 1shot lvl5 archers, which is awesome around your townhall if you're going for trophies.
As Jung said, they even take out giants faster than an xbow!

1 more thing, the lvl7 tesla coming out next update does 87DPS, which makes it the highest ground-firing defence in the game, and it even does air!

It's the short range that kills it for me.

My new layout now depends a lot more on teslas, and I am always upgrading at least one of them.

and I didn't say they take out giant faster than xbow lol, i said that lv3 xbow had a .56s victory over a lv6 tesla against a lv6 giant.

Shhh Jung, i'm just trying to convince them all that the tesla shouldn't be neglected. :p

Teslas are really, really good. The upgrade times are quite long, though, so people usually save them for last.

The lvl7 tesla will probably beat the xbow.. Right jung? Xbow3's got 80 or 75 dps if I recall?

Hm that is true.. my teslas are a little neglected. I will remember to give them some TLC soon. :)
