Is it possible to update laboratory with troops already upgrading inside ?

I have made this mistake many times smh

And with the lab only, it doesnt ask to confirm your Gem use so its easy to accidentally speed it up.

That happened to me while I was upgrading my Barbarians to level 3 or 4. After that I thought it would always continue a troop upgrade during the lab upgrade. But sadly it never happened again.
