Tips for a new th9

So today I just started my town hall upgrade to level 9. I have been hearing horror stories of it being rough and others say they can't tell the difference between 8 and 9. So I just want some tips from experienced players like what to get first? What upgrades to do first? What loot is the most important in the beginning? Any other tips or tricks would be much appreciated as well.

I just got my th 9 today.Loot is still good but you will notice that you can't farm th 7s anymore but thats not a big problem. For upgrades I build 1 xbow upgreadet my lab and build my AQ and got her to lvl 2 instantly build my new de drill and got 1 builder on my new defences.

Th9 loot problems don't effect you if you only attack th8s.

Go for the xbows, then the other additional defense structures.

Updgrade all storages for gold elixir and DE.

Find. A good base for TH 9.
