They changed today, they'll change in the future. Regardless, I want my heroes high since I don't need em farming and they take about 9 months of straight upgrade time to max.
That's just me though.
Max TH9, working on lavas and heroes till heroes hit 25-30.

Same opinion here the heros are still very good just the way of using them has changed. I will work on my heros now that I am th 9.
I'm going to be honest, I don't find it interlay worth upgrading the heros anymore. All I see them good for defensively is taking out hogs and Balloons. Offensively I'm still undetermined, they seems to be dying rather quickly compared to what they used to be able to withstand. Granted it may be because I raised my trophies, but I don't think going from Gold I to Crystal III will cause much inconvenience.
Conclusion: I'm not really sure how I feel with this update, maybe have a few tweaks upcoming?
Not really worth upgrading them anymore since we war 24/7 and i hate attacking without heroes.

Yeah, I think the new adjustments are game changers. Yet, this allow players to explore new ways of attack and defense, rather than get bored with the used-to-be game scheme.
