Hogs are NOT dead.

I decided to give hogs a go this morning with my alt TH9 account, to see how the new heroes would affect my raids. I have had great results.

As expected, hogs out run heroes. In some cases, they even finished off the towers and turned on the heroes. I have had success on centered heroes and edge heroes. Two and three star wins on mostly other TH9s(one TH8 and one premmie TH10).

Edge heroes are a no brainer. Deploy on the other side, by the time the hogs get there, most of the towers are gone.

Centered heroes, what I have been doing:
Lure CC like normal. Deploy hogs on a side nearest to the TH, in groups of two or three, heal as needed. Before I would heal hogs near WT and when they are in center with Xbows. Now I just pay a bit more attention to what the heroes are doing. If they are attacking the hogs, I might drop a heal there also.
Hold onto your heroes and support a little longer. Once 60-70% of the towers are down, deploy on the now cleared side. Put down some support to clear a path, then heroes and the remaining support to go to center.
The BK tanks and crushes walls to core, AQ and wizzies follow, taking out the defending heroes, TH and grab loot.

Before you declare Hogs dead, maybe you should try it. Tactics will need a little adjustment, but Hog Riders are still a very viable troop.

A handful of additional barbs are truly a huge impact, sir... not.

BK/AQ combo has been doing a good job for me though.

Maybe you can still farm with them because of sleeping AQ and bad base designs. But they are dead if you try and attack anyone with half a brain who can design a decent base. I'd love to see a replay of you hogging a base with both hereose in the core and correctly placed double giant bombs.

At th9 it was already very diffucult to 3 star a good antihog design in clan wars (please don't tell me it wasn't because I've watched hundreds of replays that just fail on bases with unlurable ccs and properly placed GBs).

But if you were really skilled you could still 3 star another th9. Now there is absolutely no army that a th9 can 3 star another th9 if that base builder knows what they are doing.

Sooner or later you will run into a double giant bomb.
