This is a great idea. Suggestion for the rules. Maybe have a level limit. Or a league limit. But this is a great idea. I love it!!

Wait can you elaborate more on that? Are you saying that you can set the requirements so that you can only let in certain leagues/levels?

Yes. Well I guess leagues is already there with the trophy limit but like say the main clan wants level 100+ then the feeder clan, the leader wants it 80+, then the next feeder 50+, and so on.

As much as I want to add it in, this has been ruled out as you can see in the bold text.

Then how would you do specific troop and level as mentioned in original post?

Sorry, I don't quite understand your thread, you say feeder, sister, mother/daughter. whats the difference with all of them?

Mother clan- main clan with lesser clans, the daughter clans
daughter clan-lesser clan to a mother clan, equal to other daughter clans.
sister clan-equal clans that are teamed up. Or daughter clans.
feeder-lesser clan. Once feeder members get to a high enough level, they join the main clan.

This is what I was taught by my first clan.

This is what I was taught by my first clan.

Sorry, i'm gonna stick with the idea with the Main clan controlling its feeder clans, its way more organized and easier to keep track of each clan. Thanks for the suggestion though!

And another addition to this new spot. In the clan info, you have little tabs on the top that says the name of each feeder clan, with the initial tab with the main clan. They could have the ability to kick any member from any of his/her clans, just how you would if you were a normal leader.

-And one more thing, the president has the ability to choose from the list of rules for each clan, and same goes for the leader of each leader of the feeder clans. But the president can overrule the power of the leaders in each feeder clan, and if the leader makes a rule that the president does not necessarily agree with, he/she will be able to change it. And here are the set of rules

Can I make a suggestion the clan commander can also select members who want to go to feeder clans to directly transport them instead of them having to leave. I made this suggestion because many of the times members dont go to the feeders they just join another clan :(

I am in the famley of clans called JUSTiSO and we have one leader with multiple accounts to help him but THIS IDEA RULES PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ IMPLAMENT THIS SUPERCELL IT WOULD MAKE YOU ULTRACELL!!!!!!!!!

So you're saying the Commander should be able to transport members to other feeder clans? Will they have a choice of going or can the leader just do without consent.

Clan Family!!

I really think an official connection with feeder clans would be awesome, and commander position even more awesome. There should be an option to send a feeder clan request tho to current unofficial feeders, and to other clans that might want to be a feeder for you. Also, kind of like what ben said, there should be a way to transfer members from feeder to main clan-or vice versa, for cos to check on feeder, because ppl join that are under wanted lvl, since no lvl req. Except, if it happened it should just be an option when connected to family chat or your clan info instead of leader kicking you to the clan.
These updates would really help me because Im a leader of a clan family and its hard checking on feeder, transferring ppl, communicating between clans-even tho we set up a forums to talk on.

I can't wait for SuperCell to take some butt-kickin action on these matters.😎

Edit:

-There will be a ware house within your clan castle where people can donate troops, players can then go into the ware house and grab troops, maximum of 5 troops per person. Credit goes to Street3

I love this idea, but i think the coleaders should also be able to hop between family clans just like the commander. However they cant change anything but instead give reports to the commander.

I thought about it, but I realized it would cause to many problems, because if member could jump around freely, this family clan would just become one giant clan, which goes against one of the rule out ideas.

You would still have your feeders, you would just need 40-50 players to start a feeder clan, you do not need to maintain it. I think the minimum should be at the least 20 people AFTER starting a feeder. And here is how it might work. Like what if, for some strange reason, your main clan loses most of its players, and the main clan would have like only 10 people. I think if that were to happen, the main clan will send an automated message to all of the clans saying something like "(Main clan name here) needs members! Join now!" And players, without leaving their clan, can request to go to the main clan. The commander or co-leader than can accept the request if they meet requirements or they can just accept in order to keep the clan family alive. And if by the time of 1 week they cant get it up to 20 people again, the family will disconnect from the main clan, but keeping the name of the clan, and just striking it out on their own. And if the main clan gets back to 40-50 players, they can request the clans they had in the family to be in their feeder clan by just searching up the clan name and requesting. How does that sound guys? You like it? If so, i'll put it into the edit.

I have more questions. What if the main clan completely goes away and disappears ending up with no members. Would the highest trophy count feeder become the main? Also, when a clan makes a feeder clan, how will they decide who leads. Does the clan start out with 0 members and someone has to join that clan to be leader or what? I still love the idea though :)

Match the colors

-If for some reason that were to happen, I feel that it should just split up, just like if it would if the player count it the main clan were to drop below 20.

-Just put it into the edit a minute ago, check it out.

I think he means this: You know how you can click on your clan castle, click clan, then see the stats of people in your clan? I think he wants there to be a Family thing too. You can see the stats of everyone in the family. (Trophies, and Donations)

I like it. Nice detail, I hope this gets added. Supercell sucks at looking at the idea and feature requests though, they like never look. Sorry to be a downer. Supercell is too self-invested to even glimpse at player suggestions. I would recommend that you spam it at them on FC or Twitter and keep bumping to hopefully get their attention. GL NICE IDEA

What if a co leader in the main clan kick all the elders and member while there is a feeder clan causing less than 40 members. what will happen to the feeder clan?

They would split up within a week if the main clan does not get it to 20 before the week ends. You really shouldn't have a co leader like that anyways

You could try incorporating the feeder into the main clan at that point. Give the leader an option to merge clans?

Because I feel that too many clans linked to only one Main Clan can only lead to disaster with organization.

Need to do this in the next update!!!

Wow! Very convincing, this will help many clans and will improve the game because more players have the chance to join better clans. Also if a player has enough trophies or experience they will move up until they are in the main clan. I can i vision this update.
