I would like to suggest the idea of tag teaming to Clash of Clans. By 'Tag Teaming' I mean allowing two players to attack a single target (village) at the same time. During this, each attacker would be working off of the other's progress. Of course, each attacker would need to be members of the same clan. Through means of, perhaps a button made specifically for Tag Teaming, the first attacker would select their tag team partner (the second attacker) from a list of their currently online clan-mates. Upon being notified in the same fashion as receiving troops or removing obstacles etc. and the red notification indicator on the 'Tag Team' button, the selected partner (second attacker) may accept or decline the offer with a brief message. *The next part is the most subject to the discretion of Supercell. However, should the expressed opinions on this thread weigh one method over the other or choose to utilize both, I'm sure Supercell would take the input entirely into account.* The first method I thought of was to find a target village and at that moment, offer for a clan-mate to Tag Team. There are a few obstacles that would require some working around for that method to be useful, one being the timer before you attack making it hard for the partner to react in time. But there are also ways that selecting a village may be achieved more easily, such as revenges, you can already scout the target village so it makes it feasible to send the Tag Team offer with the target included, so the partner may have ample time to scout the target for themselves. The second method that I considered was to have the Tag Team agreed upon first and, afterwards, select a target to be scouted for approval by the partner. Obviously either partner could select a target, and both could present one target to their partner with this method, but they would have to decide between the two if both selected a target. At that point they would be able to initiate the Tag Team attack whenever they are both consenting (to allow for time to train troops if needed).
A Few Predictable Necessities To Allow Enjoyable Functionality:
Reduce the loot/trophy loss of the defender by half or more
Limit the quantity of troops allowed of each attacker to maybe 75% (or maybe not- if the defender isn't losing so much, why limit the wrath of teamwork...)
Divide any loot or trophies gained equally among the two attackers
If it is an obviously lopsided (here, meaning: one attacker is far over the level of the other) or one sided attack (here, meaning: both attackers are close in level but one does most if not all of the attack), divide the rewards proportionally.
This suggestion, if accepted and included into the Clash of Clans game, would bring a whole new aspect of tactics in alongside it. This could very easily encourage large quantities of people to become more active and others to join in on the fun by downloading the app in the first place!
