Hi, there,

having maxed out everything besides my BK I am in need of DE. And finding that the loot in Silver I/Gold III wasn't all that good, yesterday I decided to get serious about trophy pushing.
Hey, that was ridiculously easy *and* fun :)

From Gold III to I in less than two hours and straight on my way to Crystal. Occasionally I had to throw some 50 barbarians at a guy who tried to be funny putting all his teslas around his TH, but that's just the way of the game.

Surprisingly I went positive on elixir and even on gold by the loot bonus alone. It more or less matched the amount I needed for nexting. And I'm still finding exposed town halls. If that trend continues, I'll try and push all the way up to Masters to get that 1000 gems. A 5th builders hut will do nicely ;)

I admit, sometimes I was a bad boy and sacked an exposed DE drill for good measure ;) instead of just "donating" free shields ...

P.S. Yes, the title is a bad pun on the well known "viper" campfire story.

Even in Masters you find exposed THs.
I had my TH outside the last days when farming in Massters II, which was worth 90k league bonus, so I got sniped all the time.
And I found a few others who did the same, just come across them randomly.

I have moved down to Crystal 2 for the moment, if you come across my base, give me snipe...

He, he ... sniping to champions? Possible?

Well, not too long ago I thought 1250 trophies was insane ... :)

On the downside there is now much opportunity for people I attacked weeks ago and that are now waaaay lower on trophies. Just lost 18 for a single star to someone who must have had me in his revenge log. Which would have meant a whopping 54 for a complete steamroll.

OTOH once I go back down, the same holds the other way round.

Of course it is possible to snipe to champions league.
Some people have done so, maybe you find the threads when searching the forum.

We have two members that hit masters sniping as either a th7 (not maxed) or th8 (premie). They are dedicated.

Yesterday, at about 1900 trophies things got way more tedious. Very few exposed town halls. I'm not quite sure if this is due to the trophy range or due to the time of day. I played in the early evening yesterday, while my first pushing session was rather late. Possibly active farmers are all online earlier.

But since my first intention was to raid more DE, I simply switched to full attacks with dragons. Quite successfully. Heavy on the elixir, but I can barch for that from time to time.

Life's good :)

But now I have to pause raiding for a while and lead my clan to victory. And watch the soccer match :)

Seriously, made it to master's and cashed those 1000 gems. I won't go further to champion's, though. It was dull and tedious work, not fun. Those lower townhall players who make it to champion's must have way more perseverance and frustration tolerance than me.

Now I will start raiding for loot again and try to stay somewhere in lower crystal. DE is good there.

And I can add one to the thread "what was the most stupid thing you ever did in CoC?". Fat-fingering the "Next" button, dropping a barbarian, losing 28 trophies while townhall sniping - duh. :rolleyes:

Crystal is extremely easy, I did it in two days. For some reason going past Crystal II was extremely hard because I kept getting hit by those silly TH9/10s whom I just sniping their TH (no zapping or picking collectors) revenge me for 35-50 trophies. For some reason now I'm getting hit less by them- I'm at 2330 trophies ;) To Masters I go!

PS. Have fun sniping my TH, its anti-snipe :rolleyes:

It's all good, zap away. But if you don't give a farmer that shield then you deserve a 3 star revenging:)

I only zap the guys who put all their teslas around their cornered town hall.

And I've developed the habit of sniping builder's huts in addition to the town hall. There's the "Union Buster" achievement, after all :)
