Level 5 upgraded stopped itself?

A few days ago, I started my level 4 upgrade to level 5, costing 800k gold and takes 5 days (I think). Today, when I was playing I noticed it only had 1 hour left to go, so I turned my phone off and left it and waited until it was done. Now a few hours later, I was remaking y base when I noticed it stopped the upgrade but didn't upgrade it to level 5, I did not cancel the upgrade and If I had, I would have noticed and would have not canceld it. So I'm very confused what has happened, and I'm very annoyed right now because that's 800k gold and 5 days upgrading time gone down the drain. Now I'm going to have to get 800k gold back and upgrade it again :/

What is costing you 800k to level a defense from level 4-5? and only takes 5 days? I don't think any of those defense.

Sorry, 800k Gold and 4 days upgrading time for a level 5 morter.

Upgrades don't just stop by them selfs you might have accidently pressed cancel

You probably canceled or someone else cancelled it.

As said above, upgrades don't just stop. Someone has cancelled it. Does someone have access to your village/ device?

Possible situations:
A) a family member plays on the iOS device without you knowing it
B) you gave your gamecenter password to a friend who used it to load your game
C) you gave your gamecenter password to one of those 3rd party gem sites
D) you logged onto a friends iOS device to play at one point, thinking logging out of gamecenter or deleting the app will prevent them from playing it (it doesn't)
E) you sold/traded/gave away an iOS device you had once played the game on without doing a factory reset and they still have access to your CoC village.
F) a friend logged in with a clean gamecenter answered the prompts and transferred your village to their GC, and loaded it on their device later (if your village wasn't attached to your own gamecenter)
G) Someone sent you a "Free" account - while logging into this new gamecenter you actually transfer you village to this empty gamecenter account and they can then load it on their device. (If your village wasn't attached to your own gamecenter)

My phone has a pass code lock on it which no one knows, so no one could have stopped it, I never have and never will give someone my gamecenter and I would use one of these 3rd party gem sites as I know every single one of th are fake or scams.

Also, I never cancled it. I checked how long it had left on the upgrade and it said 1 hour (50 something minutes precisely) so I turned my phone off and waited for it to be done, I didn't go on the game in that hour, So I cant have cancled it.

No one could have canceled it... Listen:

• no one except me has access to my phone, it has a passcode lock on it, which only I know.
• No one has access to my game center as I would never give it to someone
• I never use these "3rd party gem sites" to get "Free" gems as I know there all fake and scams

So there is no way someone has canceled my upgrade, and I know 100% I didnt.

Do you have your 800k gold back yet? This is not any bug in the game. I think someone has your game center password if you are 120% sure that you did not accidentally hit cancel

Yeah I have my 800k gold back but I'm not bothered about the money, Its just I waited 4 days waiting for this upgrade to complete, then it stops somehow, so that's 4 days wasted...

And lets make this clear:

• No one, and I mean, no one knows my game center email because I use my second email (alt if you'd like) which nobody actually knows.
• My phone has a lock on it which nobody knows, so no one could have canceled my upgrade
• I DIDN'T cancel the upgrade, here's how I know:

When I last checked the upgrade (this was a few days ago) It had around 54 minutes left until completion, I then turned off my phone and waited until the upgrade was done as I had nothing to do on the game, so I couldn't have canceled it.

• I have NEVER put my login details into one of these "Free Gems Site" as I, along with MANY other people, know they are just a scam and ♥♥♥♥ your account to take over it. So this is out of the question.

So now a few days later, I'm still confused as of what has happened. If any SuperCell Staff can reply to help me, I would be more then happy.

I don't mind if nothing can be done about this, all I want to know is what has happened, and if it is a bug or something else.
