Hi, I've accidently left my Clan. It's name is The Kings and it's a german clan. They have about 45 members. It was the perfect clan for me... And now I can't find it anymore... (with the searching function)
PLEASE HELP ME! What should I do?:confused::confused::(:p

The Clan search function doesn't work well with more common clan names. It can only show a certain amount of results so stuff like "The Kings" get buried.
Hopefully you can have a friend from the clan invite you via GameCenter!

I am having this problem (cannot find me old clan), and I am not friends with anyone on GameCentre.
How am I meant to find 'pride of kings' when the search results are as random as they are?

I get that it goes in alphabetical order after a while...but why have Pride of islam, then pride of London without the actual one I'm looking for in the middle?
There needs to be a search for exact name, as well as generalising.
Is there any update / further feedback on this issue?
Sure do you have an GameCentre friends in the clan....or any way of contacting any members of the clan who could add yours?
As stated above...don't have any GC friends. I do not know of any other way of contacting them. They weren't any kind of active on this forum.Quote:

A clan search clean up would be nice, maybe a forced clan leave for players inactive for a period of time, or inactivity within the clan, lots of 1/50 clans just clogging up the search function.

Why don't you just go in your inbox and look for a message from the leader and press join clan

No...no I do not.
I joined a clan...completely at random. Left to join the forum clan, and have no way back. I did not add anyone on gamecentre, I don't know any of theirs, they don't know mine. They are not active on the forum, and the chances of finding anyone on global, without being subjected to a ban in around 5 seconds, is small.
I have no way of contacting them OUTSIDE of the game!
Contacting them inside the game needs to be addressed. The search is for the most part absolutely pointless!
This is what needs fixing!!
Would this be better as a 'feature' request...to have a working clan search? I thought as it does exist, but that it doesn't work properly, it would come under Bugs & Problems?
Edit: Also, noticed this is still within IOS...it's not OS specific.
I've still not been able to find my old clan. I have a new one, but this is still a problem.
This is one of those "communication" things that need improving.
Is 1 week...well, I wouldn't consider this bumping, but is 1 week a sufficient period of time to post again, about an unanswered problem?

so yes it has changed...no it doesn't contain the clan I'm after.
And trying it again at another point in time, doesn't solve this problem.
They should add a message to your inbox when you leave a clan, this way you can always get back easily.
The problem is, is that when you leave the clan it does not give you a message in the inbox. If your lucky the leader might've sent out a message before he left. But that's not the case here. A clan name like The Kings is very popular so it can get buried very very easily.Quote:

If this is actually the clan you are looking for then open clash of clans. Go to search clans type in "the king" no caps if you cant find it on the list the type in the king again over and over again until you see 40+ members with a purple and white flag with the clan description in german( i think it looks pretty German to me)

'Pride of Kings'. possibly 'pride of kings'...but either way, it is not that clan you found. But I applaud your attempt...misguided as it was.

In order to not break the rules I did not start another thread for finding my clan. There was already a topic on finding a clan, and so I jumped onto it.
I'm looking for 'Pride of Kings', and it is a problem because even if I found the clan by complete luck (which is what it will to take to either see them, or them see me in matchmaking...or for the search results to resemble something useful to me), the 'Search' function does not work very well.
