I have 103 diamond rings which I picked up in dd. Wondered why so many were selling them. Now I know. Orders for diamond rings are all but non-existant. I keep deleting the food orders but no jewelry orders replace them just more food.
Stupid me, thought rings would be good source for getting vouchers, ha! was I sooooo wrong.

I've had lots of truck orders for diamond rings and all the jewelry. I delete them as I am saving my metal bars for upgrading my train. I have already deleted nine such orders today.
Jewelry orders have always been streaky. I'll go days or weeks hardly getting any, then suddenly will get a lot.
But I do think something has happened with diamond rings. Perhaps it's as simple as the new iron bracelets; having trucks ask for them some of the time probably means asking for other items of jewelry, including rings, less.
Diamond rings are odd. I suspect most of those in the game get there through Tom. Sure, some people made them using their own diamonds, and a few are won on the Wheel of Fortune. But unlike bracelets and necklaces, I bet most enter the game through Tom.
Fewer necklaces and bracelets are being made now, because people are using their metal bars to upgrade their personal trains. But that doesn't really affect rings, because not many people make those.
Anyway, I, too, have noticed rings are suddenly everywhere. I never make them, so I always bought them when I saw them for sale. Once in a great while my stock would drop so low I'd have to ask Tom to bring some.
No more. I suddenly realized that buying them every time I see them resulted in my having 500 diamond rings in my barn. I am still getting truck orders for them, but not that many. So I no longer buy them. Except when my finger moves faster than my brain. Hard to break old habits. :p
You know, I too have seen a LOT of diamond rings in the DD lately. I've wondered what the deal was. I still get diamond ring truck orders but slightly less than I used to get on my board. I got one today but it's been several days since the last one and I delete the non-jewelry orders all the time. I am not sure if it is a phase or what, as I do notice little phases here and there in this game.Quote:

I've noticed a lot of rings in the DD too. Bought about 50 today alone. I buy and resell any I see because some of my neighbours want them.
Yep it's true. Not sure what's up exactly. I always buy a supply of them when I can and then do like Neen and rip down my board. I tend to get a ring order about every 2nd time so the excess of rings in the DD is good profit and vouchers for me.
Taking my own advice, I've been ripping them down since that last post and I've only gotten 1 ring order and very few other jewlery orders. Not sure whats up.Quote:

I had a long spell where truck orders for jewellery almost completely dried up. But recently I am getting a lot more including many orders for diamond rings. I have never monitored which give the best deals - always thought it was random.
I've had the same observation. Gold vouchers via any jewelry or metal bar truck orders are far and few between. I hope this is just a trend and not part of the New Update World Order.Quote:

I hadn't noticed how many diamond rings there were in the DD until this thread. Since I send Tom for them, I never pay attention to them in DD. My stock of them right now is low and I think I'll keep it that way until the jewelry truck order tides turn again.Quote:
